Dr Weiner and his staff are friendly and up to date on eye procedures. I recommend highly.

Called and made an appointment as a new patient. I arrived early and realized I didn't have my insurance card with me. I asked if they could look it up on the subscriber portal which they would not. Office staff unfriendly and told me I had to reschedule. I won't be coming back.

It is very unusual to find a practice so well run with a Dr. as experienced and as personally interactive with a patient, willing to help the patient understand her diagnosis and spend the time to make her feel important to his practice. I have found my Ophthamologist.

The reason I am giving Dr.Weiner two stars is: 1. The front desk clerks lacked customer service skills. They refused to acknowledge me during sign-in. A simple "I will be right with you would have sufficed." I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for them to say something. A little common courtesy goes a long way. 2. Dr. Weiner's assitant (Nicole) does not know how to treat elderly patients. She was absolutely unprofessional. Maybe all of these ladies were going through PMS simultaneously? I hope this is helpful to those planning on making an appt. Please note that this was my experience and I just need to share. Thank you!

Dr Weiner is the best ophthalmologist I have ever had. I trusted him to do my cataract surgery. His staff are warm and caring and helpful.

He may be good for simple things and exams but my experience was bad. I have a rare connective tissue disease and when I phoned ahead I was told he definitely knew about it and has patients with it and even has a wife that is a neuro eye doc he can refer me to if needed. He had no clue. I traveled far for no reason. He wasn't able to understand my condition, he was arrogant and when i mentioned being referred to his wife he didn't say anything. I have no idea why you can't see your eyes are fine is what he said. HA! Laughable. If it's anything serious I wouldn't go there. You would be just taking a chance he actually knows instead of just admitting he doesn't know.
