Dr Ott operated on my husband Dave Jett. He had a tumor on his adrenal gland. Dr Ott is caring, kind, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. We feel so blessed that he was the surgeon. GOD bless this dr, he’s the BEST!

Dr. Ott has wonderful bedside manner. I was sick constantly for about 3 months, then had a referral to see Dr. Ott. He reviewed all my tests , xrays, and notes. Then he had my daughter, husband and I come in and he explained and show what he thought was either a pocket of infection or it could be a tumor. The shadow appeared under the liver. Once he got in for surgery he found it was cancer, and was able to remove all of it, along with 18 nodes, and all came back clear. To be safe, he had me meet an Oncologist, Dr. Gregg, at Utah Cancer Specialists, and she recommended I do 4 rounds (8 sessions) of chemo. Upon completion in mid July, I was told I did not need radiation at this time. So I am now on the survival side of life. I feel Dr. Ott saved my life. He is a wonderful human being, and has a love for medicine and making it right for you.

I went to Dr. Ott for a second opinion on what had become a very serious case due to some "miss steps" by another surgeon. Dr. Ott skillfully orchestrated me out of a mess and gave me back a hope and expectation for a bright and healthy future. He is very attentive to his patients and responds very quickly to messages. He visited me personally each day in the hospital after surgery. I would have him perform surgery on any of my 4 children or wife regardless of the complexity or difficulty. We will always be very grateful to have found Dr. Ott and for all he has done for us. Please do not hesitate going to him with your most complex needs.

Even though Dr. Ott was running behind due to an emergency, he personally came out into the waiting room and apologized to the patients waiting. He didn't send a nurse or staff, he did it himself. That showed me he cared about us and our time. Excellent customer care.
