Optum has Horrible Customer Service

He is only interested in doing surgery on you. Not interested in your skin health.

I saw Dr. Good man about skin erruptions on my body . One very bad one was on my leg and looks just like skin cancer. He blew me off and said he "doesn't know what it it". Also kept telling me at least 6 time I have a lot of sun damage. A real idiot. He said to come back in a month. I left and call another Dr. and made an appointment for next week. The man is incompetent and shouldn't be in practice. Depending on the outcome from the next Dr appt. I may report him.

He does not care about the patient. Spent virtually no time with you. Rushes you out. Curt and pompous. Treatment provided was ineffective. He's only interested in sending you his bill.

His staff forgot me in the waiting room. He was mad at me because he had to see me late. I had a rash he acted like I was making it up. I had a spot on my face that he said could be a problem he acted mad and said what do want to do about it.

I was seen by Dr. Goodman several times at his Peekskill office. I was examined, had some issues removed and was overall pleased with this doctor. To me, his attitude seemed to fine, he was friendly and professional. He conversed with me, diagnosed/treated my issues and recommended for me to follow up annually. I did not have a problem with him.

I saw Dr. Goodman at the suggestion of my primary for annual skin check up, at the Fishkill MHMG location. I have had a more thorough exam by another dermatologist, compared to my "exam" with doctor Goodman. I felt Dr. Goodman's exam was very brief, and not as thorough as my last Dermatologist. It made me wish my former Dermatologist took my present insurance. If he did, I would not have wasted my time with Dr. Goodman. I have a family history of skin cancer, which I made Dr. Goodman aware of during my visit. Despite this fact, I felt that my exam lacked the thorough attention I have received from another Dermatologist. I won't be using his services again. "

Waste of time and money. Appointment was abrupt and worthless. Took my daughter in for an appointment, I guess my first warning should have been that I was able to get an appointment so quickly. He is rude and non-informative. Barely took the time to look at the issues and prescribed medicine and didn't explain its use or directions or active ingredients. When I asked him, he replied with the main active ingredient and walked out of the room. Arrogant doesn't make for a good doctor. I cannot believe Mid-Hudson Medical Group has this person in their building.

The staff at the front desk are pleasant. Had to wait weeks to get an appointment even though I stated I had a bit of an emergency I was dealing with on my skin which was not only uncomfortable, but embarrassing to have to live with for weeks, but they still made no attempt to get me in earlier. Doctor spent less than 3 minutes with me after I spent about 15 minutes filling out paperwork, weeks waiting to see him and then he says to come back if I see no improvement after a month. Another MONTH of this? Gee, that sounds like a great plan. So far, I've seen no improvement with the prescription I was given and it has been close to two weeks since my visit. I am dissatisfied. This was my first visit ever with a dermatologist and not a good experience. All of that waiting and the expense of the visit and the prescription and for what? If I do actually see an improvement within the 30 days it might supposedly take for my skin to improve, I will certainly update my review. I am… very fair and I will say the staff was nice and they did take me rather promptly when I got there - only waited about five minutes or so once paperwork was completed, and I was feeling so hopeful - until I met with the doctor - who seemed not to have a single question for me other than 'am I allergic to any medications?' then was just quick to write me Rx and send me on my way. I wish I would have selected another doctor/facility.

I went to see Dr Goodman for a complete body freckle check and another issue.He was completely unfriendly, barely said hello, barely spoke, did a minimal check (even though I have a history of basal cancer). He treated me like I was a hypochondriac. Very disappointed and will never return to this guy.
