Dr Piker was my doctor at Valley for years and he has helped me through some hard times, with guidance and really truly cares, It shows in everything he does.

With proper diagnosis and treatment Dr. Piker gave me my life back, and I’m no longer relying on my medical alert dog. Vitals.com need to update their records regarding his location though.

Very Thurough, but does not like you to question him on anything he tells you regarding diagnosis etc. Even seemed to get irritable with me about it. I like direct people but if I am the patient and I have concerns or I am not happy with what your telling me- the doc should be professional enough to not get irritable and reassure you etc.

Dr Piker spends a lot of time talking with you and working out appropriate treatments, with options. I would recommend Dr. Piker for anyone with chronic headache or migraines that want to work out treatments that will lessen or solve chronic pain associated with headaches. The staff is friendly and they care about your needs.

Dr. Piker has done an excellent job diagnosing the cause of my headaches. He is thorough, and systematically works through all the possibilities.

I have had more relief from my migrains since i have met dr. piker, but i also have had some pretty aggrivating experiences too. He tends to change the rules in the middle of the game. for us migrain pt's, we can go to whats called ambulatory care or infusion center for IV medications and pain meds, well there have been several times he has changed how many times i can go to the infusion center without telling me in adavance and then his staff states "well you agreed to it" when infact they had me mixed up with another pt. so no i hadnt agreed to it. I ended up waiting three weeks with a migrain because of time schedules and the fact he changed his mind as to how many rescue treatments i could have. He does help and i would be a mess without him, but there are parts that def. could be improved. If the dr's assistant thinks you are wrong or your bothering her that day she can get rather snotty, but the front desk staff is amazing and always friendly.
