Dr. Mark M. Souweidane

Dr. Souweidane removed a large (17 mm) colloid cyst from my ventricle on 4/22/2025. He was excellent and I have the utmost confidence in him. He’s confident that he got the whole thing, so I think I can be assured that it will likely be gone for good! I sure do hope that this is something I can put behind me for good and get rid of the cognitive issues I’ve been experiencing, though he’s unsure that they’re a result of the cyst. I hope they are and that now is the time to start healing. Time will tell the tale.

Dr Souweidane has been managing my condition for a few years now. On each visit he has taken all the time needed to answer my questions thoroughly and candidly. His expertise and knowledge of my condition is well documented and reviewed. I am very grateful that I found Dr Souweidane and he will be the surgeon that will I will use when the time comes. Fantastic Doctor!

I am a 58-year-old patient of Dr. Marc Souweidane's. I had endoscope neurosurgery with Dr. Souweidane in January for the resection of a colloid cyst. The surgery was very successful. I felt lucky to be a short car ride away from him for this procedure. In addition to his surgical skills, he also has a wonderful manner and is great at explaining things. I walked into Cornell the morning of the neurosurgery completely calm because of him and his team. I'm so grateful!

Dr. Souweidane was very kind and compassionate. We drove an hour to the city for my 15 month daughter's appointment, and he took his time to explained to us what her situation was and what needs to be done . He sure is very knowledgeable and makes their patients feel comfortable and safe. I will highly recommend him to all my friends and family.
