Dr. Marta Mazzawi, MD

My mother was a patient of Dr Mazzawi. My mother complained of back pain and stomach pains for a while - Dr Mazzawi said it was arthritis along with some other things. Even when my mother had jaundice, further testing was not recommended. The whole time my mother had pancreatic cancer. She survived 16 months.

Appalling lack of communication regarding results of a colonoscopy. Never bothered to tell me there was carcinoma found. 4 years later, got record sent due to having an issue. New doc found in pathology report that I had carcinoma in my colon. Shame on her!!!

Dr. Mazzawi takes the time to hear my concerns and is very clear in her explanations. She has a fabulous personality. I've now moved my daughter over from her pediatrician to Dr. Mazzawi.

Ive known Dr. Mazzawi for many years and felt compelled to write this after reading a bad review by another stating that they were bumped by another patient . I know Dr. Mazzawi would never intentionally do that unless it were important to the other patients well being. Sometimes there are circumstances beyond our control and we are unaware of the situation or misunderstand the situation. But to leave a good Doctor that kind of review for that reason is not only unfair but rather irresponsible . I've found Dr. Mazzawi to be a Fair,Genuine,Competent and Professional person in every regard. After 63 years and having gone through many Medical Professionals on every level that's not something I say ligthly.

Awful practice- your appointment gets bumped for other patients who arrive early and “have a train to catch” when they are already running late.
