I. Traveled 2 hours and bypassed my own hospital to see Dr Weiser. He is very busy so you don’t get a lot of his time but is a superb surgeon worth the trip. MSK is well organized but very busy. My surgery was on a SATURDAY! I would see him again in spite of some hiccups, which you will experience at any hospital. This is one os the best cancer hospitals in the world.

My first meeting with Dr. Weiser was upsetting and scary!! Here I am never being sick given a diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer Stage Three and being told about all I was going to go through to be cured. I came to adore this man and his team!! He always gave me the worst and I always made sure that didn't happen!! From his staff at Sloan in NY to the staff at Basking Ridge there was never a time I felt he was not making sure that I got better. Today, 4 months after my surgery I am on my way to getting back to my old self!! I can't say enough about the care he orchestrated for me!!

Dr. Weiser is great doctor, his staff is perfect and overtime when i have question and need someone to talk they're always call back.and important thing is my husband have no cancer anymore and i am very thankful for Dr. Weiser. this doctor giving people new life and plz go to him and again his hands have GOD BLESSING ,He gave my husband new life.

Being diagnosed with colorectal cancer at the age 25 was very scary to say the least. The day I met Dr Weiser and his team at MSKCC my mind was set at ease. I knew I was in great hands and that I could trust him. Dr Weiser takes time and talked to me and my family making sure that I knew what to expect and what the best plan was to beat this cancer. He is so smart and confident! His positive outlook on my situation, gave me so much HOPE when I needed it most! He has a wonderful personality, he's very sensitive and cares and answered all of my questions and concerns when I presented them to him. He always reassured me that he's taking good care of me and that he really did!! I had a robotic low anterior recection with a loop ileostomy followed by ileostomy reversal 5 months later which was an emergency! Each surgery was handled so wonderfully! He came in on his day off to perform my emergency reversal surgery! I believe that if I was in anyone else's care I wouldn't have had the… outstanding successful results I have today!! I'm so happy!!! I'm so very grateful for Dr Weiser! He goes above and beyond to make sure that all his patients are well cared for and this makes me feel safe and very proud to have had him as my surgeon ! He is very professional, gifted by God to do what he does and with excellence!!! I highly recommend him to anyone who has colon/rectal cancer and needs a surgeon. Seriously look no further! Words cannot express how very thankful I am for you Dr Weiser! Your the best!! :-)

Dr. Weiser is a busy doctor with lots of patients but always finds the time to see me or to call me back on the phone. Compassionate enough. A highly skilled surgeon. Had robotic assisted left hemicolectomy. Surgery went as planned. Was released from hospital quickly (I was asked about release, not pushed out of hospital). Bowel movements are normal. Minor pain post operation, less than expected in a scary situation. So far so great! I would recommend highly!

Dr. Weiser, is the nicest doctor with outstanding bed- side manners, abilities, comforting and caring and even a touch of humor. He went the extra mile for my daughter. My daughter was diagnosed with stage three Correctol cancer and even though it was and is difficult to go through. Dr. Weiserâ??s wisdom and abilities went way beyond any doctor I have ever witnessed. He took his time with my daughter and was patient in every way. He is very confident which I like and it can be taken by some as ego, but the truth is this man was so humble and so caring and never rushed us and even paused on several occasions to wait if we perhaps had additional questions or concerns during our dialogue. Dr. Weiser works well with other team players and shows respect towards staff members. As a concern father of a 25 year, I salute this man and rate him HIGHLY. THANK YOU DR. WEISER!!! You are truly a Godsend!

My grandfather, Peter Afanasyev, is a 78 year old patient who recently was diagnosed with cancer of the colon (large intestine) We were all very worried about him undergoing such a severe surgery at such an old age, especially with his history of heart problems, but Dr. Weiser and his staff did an exceptional job. Peter was up and running on the 2nd day after surgery and is now almost fully recovered after 10 days back to his old routine of daily walks in the park.
