Dr. Mary L Biskup, MD

We saw her a few times, and everything seemed great. Then she would make comments about getting treatment and my how my insurance won't cover stuff, that it takes forever. I told her I've never had issues with my insurance covering things. I had to ask her to please order those things regardless of what she thought. She was going to not treat me appropriately bc of my insurance. It was shocking.. I ended up getting all my test done and was back in the office 2 weeks later for a follow up. She was she was in disbelief that 1, all my tests were approved and done, and 2, that all the issues I was telling her I had were in fact verified and true, proven by my results. At that point I realized she wasn't going to treat me before bc she simply didn't believe me! My husband's experiences were by far worse than mine however. He had shared he was military, and she told him a story how another military patient had seen her and that his insurance ended up denying his visit, so she called his… commander to report him bc they couldn't reach him to pay his office visit! My husband couldn't believe what he was hearing. About 6 months later my husband had been having recurring health issues, so I told him he would have to go get seen. (At this point, we had been going to immediate care for treatment if needed bc she just simply didn't listen and didn't believe us.) So he reluctantly went. After waiting an hour, he got interested and explained what was happening and for how long. She was looking at his chart, and asked him if he has told the military about this.. he said, "no, why would I? I'm here to see a doctor about it" she csain she'd order a few test and then asked Where he was based out of and who his commanding officer was. She asked more completely private, classified info than anything medical. He got up and walked out, and we changed doctors the next week. I can not state enough to avoid this office and doctor.

Dr Biscup apparently thinks her time is worth more than the patient's she treats. She's late to appointments, spends very little time listening to your reasoning for being seen, then orders unnecessary tests. To top it all off- she makes you schedule (and pay for) additional appointments to get the results of these unnecessary tests! After all that, if you're not satisfied with the short explanations she gives you about your health, she'll end the appointment and walk out of the office without so much as saying goodbye! Don't waste your time or money on someone who cares so little about your health and so much more about how many appointments she can bill you for!

I was told I can be up to 15 minutes late; I was 10 minutes late; The doctor refused to see me. They did not want to listen to my explanation why I need to have this appointment. No refills for my prescription.

Visited Dr. Biskup for the first time back in September. She has excellent bedside manner & took her time with me. I highly recommend her!

Dr Biskup spent time with me like no other doctor has done before. She was accurate in her diagnosis and did all she coule for me.

Dr. Biskup is one of the most compassionate woman I know. She takes time to listen and talk to me about any issues I may be having, personally and medically. My entire family is taken care of by this woman and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great doctor.

Dr. Biskup is literally the best doctor I have ever had. She actually really listens to he patients,talks with them, and HEARS THEM!

I wanted to write this to warn potential, or existing patients who would like to know about Dr. Biskup. This woman does not care about ANYONE all she cares about is what kind of insurance a person carries and if you carry a PPO insurance even better, thats what this office prefers. If you have too many health issues please don't even bother her, she gets annoyed very fast and walks out on you at your visit. She is also 45 to an hour late everyday, she has no consideration for anyones time. Also she and the staff always talk bad about patients and their conditions especially her Asian Medical Assistant is VERY RUDE!!! The reason I know all these things is because my daughter used to work for this office. She left because she DID NOT agree with how this office works. People deserve to know the truth, so please don't waste your time.

My first experience with Dr. Biskup was very pleasant. However, my last visit with the doctor truly bothered me. I made a Saturday morning appointment (the first available one) so that I did not have to wait. However, the doctor walked into the office 45 minutes late. The doctor also failed to give me proper instructions on how to prepare when getting lab work done. So, I arrived at the lab and had to leave because I had not fasted. The office staff is very friendly and kind. They made me feel very comfortable even when the doctor was 45 minutes late. Did I mention that she spent a total of 5 minutes with me during that visit? Maybe that's why she forgot to give me proper instructions.
