Dr. Mary Elizabeth River, MD

Many years ago my mother saw her and the first word out of this so called Dr.Rivers mouth was don’t waste her time. She said it about 5 times and I eventually called her out on it. I actually told her that I was going warn other future patients to avoid going to see this one. This is a nightmare. How did this one qualify in the first place to begin with. This one sounds so shady and a Karen.

I have to agree with the review that commented on her outdated perspective on treatment of her patients along with her lack of empathy. She was not at all empathetic or understanding of my condition and frankly she made my condition worse. I made a complaint to St Al’s which went no where other than to send a few letters making it appear like they were addressing the issue which in fact they did basically nothing. Prior to Mary Rivers I was treated by Dr Redshaw in the same office. He was an amazing doctor and really did help me. Well then he retired and I got stuck with old lady Mary Rivers. I can’t decide if she is just oblivious to patients struggles or if she is a uncaring narcissist. Horrible horrible experience with her.

Awful experiences with Dr River. Outdated perspectives, her way or no way attitude, lacks empathy and a holistic care perspective. Judgemental and rigid. What a waste of my time.

Dr. River spent a lot of time listening to me regarding my problem. She showed genuine concern and did what she said she would do.

Have been going to her for a few years now, she has been great at listening to my concerns and working on helping me improve my life.

Dr River and her staff are wonderful. Her assistant is extremely helpful and always returns my calls. Very friendly and professional office.

Best Neurologist in the Treasure Valley.

She's the BEST!

When first met Dr. Rivers, she acted like she was questioning what I was saying which stressed me out, but then I confronted her about this and the feeling changed. Dr. River was excellent on increasing a medication to get rid of my pain.

She is a sweet person.
