Dr. May Marie Wakamatsu, MD

I was referred to Dr. Wakamatsu by one of my neighbors. She had a similar problem and highly recommended Dr. Wakamatsu. She was wonderful. She listened to all my concerns, and made me feel comfortable with the need to have surgery. I have young grandchildren and I am an active 73 year old woman. First MGH doctor who has dissapointed me terribly. Left the visit not gaining slightest improvement or understanding of my condition. Made me wait 1and half hours before the visit. No follow up. Asked for reduntant tests. Doctors like her cause the failure of obamacare. she asked me to go see my NP instead of doing a follow up herself although the NP was the one that referred me to her. I felt like tennis ball paying for multiple visits for the same problem which has not resolved or explained at all yet. She talked behind my back about my health problems to my NP over the telephone. I donT know what she said. This is against privacy. I cant explain enough what she is because I did not understand her actions myself. She has written on the internet about herself that she is the third in her field. Do not believe it. She works in UreGynecology but she does not undestand kidneys, quoting from herself. So keep your distance if you are thinking of seeing her.

I had pelvic prolapse surgery performed by Dr. May Wakamatsu. Her staff was informed and available. She was caring, professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy--a wonderful doctor. Great experience. Couldn't ask for better!

Dr Wakamatsu was very aggressive with her exam. She out her whole hand inside me moving my organs around pushing upwards towards the ceiling. She pushed upwards just behind the skin of my abdomen stretching it out. It looked like tennis balls rolling around in my stomach. I bled with very sharp pains after and called her but she never returned my call. Her nurse was rude and told me to go to the emergency room which I did. They told me it was my period even though I had stopped bleeding from menopause. I was in so much pain after this visit with bulging urethra as well and separated pubic bone as well. Please be careful my fellow woman

Dr. Wakamatsu is very hard to get an appointment with because she is very much in demand. I found her very knowledgeable and very gentle. She spent a lot of time, and gave me good handouts and illustrated the treatment options. She will do surgery. I feel she is one of the best. She was worth the long wait to get an appointment.

She made my problems much worse by aggressiceky stickingbher hand up in side me and literally moving my organs. I was in the ER THE NEXT DAY WITH MENNORRAGHUA. BLEEDING. THIS DR IS AWFUL. IT BURNS WHEN I PEE NOW. STAY AWAY

She spoke but did not listen just rolled her eyes
