Dr. Melanie Beth Schatz, MD

I really like Dr. Schatz and the staff at the practice, but clearly they over schedule for their convenience. I did not see the doctor until an hour after my scheduled appointment.

Dr. Schatz has a great bed side manner and has spent a lot of time answering my questions and concerns. She gives great advice and never rushes me out of the office.

Most pathetic with no empathy

Dr Schatz has been my Dr for 3 years now. I am extremely happy with her as a physician, diagnostically and bedside manner, however the office staff and scheduling are horrible. I always have to wait more than 30 min no matter what office I go to, and the staff is just short of rude. It is hard to find a doctor you like but I am not sure if I will stay , they are that bad.

Be aware of going with a doctor that can only say "very good", "everything is fine" to you.

I have had 3 appointments with Dr. Schatz this year and find her to be extremely condescending. For someone just 5 years out of medical school, her attitude is that of someone who has been practicing for many years - and she does not have the experience to back it up.I am pregnant with my first child and have had many questions throughout my pregnancy. She is unsympathetic and very condescending in the way she answers my questions. I am praying that she is not the doctor on call when I go into labor.

I didn't go to this practice to see Dr. Schatz, but ended up with her. I was pleasantly surprised. I think she did a wonderful job compared to my first c-section. Very professional and kind. I felt like I had less pain than the first time around. She was more gentle with the procedure. She even hand stitched the incision herself.

She is my doctor. She is great. However, because it is impossible to get an appointment with her, I often end up with other doctors in the practice when I call to make an appointment.
