I was seen right away!! The nurse was very nice, Dr. Musick came in about 2 minutes the nurse left the room. She listened to what I had to say with care. Looked carefully at a growth on my back. I had hoped to have her remove it but she said it was to big & deep to do in office. Since I live 2 hrs. from Huntsville she gave me the option to have it where I live or have it done at Huntsville Hospital. Note* I had seen Dr. Musick 11 yrs. ago, she removed a small growth from my foot. I was treated the same way then.

Always in a hurry. Seems not interested in your issues just get to the next patient. Don’t recommend.

After the normal "first time" check in routine, I was ushered to a exam room only 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The front desk experience was good. The initial interview with a nurse was efficient and excellent. Dr. Musick arrived within 5 minutes and conducted a thorough "initial exam". She quickly and completely responded to several questions I had regarding various localized skin conditions. I felt my first ever dermatology appointment was a very positive overall experience and was both professionally and efficiently conducted.

I had an appointment at 1:00. Knowing how notoriously slow they are to get you back, I arrived at 12:25, 35 minutes early. There was no one in the waiting room except me. I completed the paperwork and patiently took a seat. The first patient, besides me, came into the waiting room 25 minutes later, around 12:50. Soon there were six patients waiting to get in. At 1:00 ( the time of my appointment) the first patient was called back, not me. During the next 30 minutes, five other patients were called back. I finally gave up and got up and went home. I'm finding another dermatologist!!! I gave them one star because there was nothing lower!

If you have an appointment, be sure to pack your lunch...and probably dinner also. Appointment time means nothing to them. Twice over the years, I have had to get up and walk out after an hour or more after the appointment time. Find another dermatologist!!!!

She is the most thorough dermatologist I've ever visited. I have several conditions and have had recent basal cell cancer surgery on my forehead. I would estimate she spent 45 minutes with me. I would warn that her propensity to spend that much time causes her to fall behind and, of course, affects waiting time...

I'm an 80 year-old man with benign skin cancers on face, head, shoulders, etc. Been going to Dr. Musick for quite a few years now. Every visit has been fruitful. Her staff are courteous and competent. Her professional demeanor includes a bit of kindness, and her examinations and surgical procedures couldn't be improved upon.

My family has been patients of Dr. Musick for many years. She is a very good Dr. When we have had a problem that was pressing she has always said "how fast can you get here" never this "sorry can't see you for two months". I always recommend her to my clients who are new comers to the area. She gets five stars from me. Shirley and John Bowman
