Dr. Robert Wayne Calcote, MD

He was the most caring Doctor that my mother and I ever had care for us. He never got in a hurry. He found himself in a position of having to clean other doctors surgical sites and redo the surgery. He always showed his love of Christ and was always available on the telephone. We were crushed when he left Jackson, Mississippi. We did not mind the 100 mile drive to see him.

Dr. Calcote is a jewel! He is kind, gentle, thorough , I rushed and an excellent dermatologist! Look no where else for your skin needs!

I have tried several dermatologist doctors before; however, none of which were able to help me with my skin troubles. With that said, I would like to inform any and all to whom are to read this that Dr. Calcote was able to within seconds diagnose and provide a preventative/treatment plan. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a professional dermatologist.

Doctor Calcote spent less than three minutes doing what was supposed to be a thorough skin cancer screening. He didn't check my scalp and spent very little time looking over areas that I had questions about. He spent more time telling about how much retin A I should use than telling me about skin cancer cancer prevention. There were no patients in the waiting room when I arrived or when I left which is a red flag in any doctor office.

I had a small mole which just didn't look right. Dr Calcote removed 7 or 8 stichess and healed perfect scar not even noticeable. Thank you Doc.

This doctor made me cry. He was condescending, arrogant and dismissive. I am a medical professional myself. I was aghast at how he treated me. Do yourself a favor and find a different dermatologist.
