Dr. Michael Arthur Connor, DO

I was a patient at the Aurora Hospital in Sheboygan. Dr Connor put on my medical record a neurological exam that never took place and claimed that my tremor/dystonia (that can sometimes wake me up at night) was "distractable". During my stay he would come in my room and peer at me laying in my bed then say a few things and leave. I had medication induced hyperammonemia that they attempted to cover up by claiming that I was "taking too many supplements". Connor claimed that I did not have hyperammonemia because "that would cause alot of (can't even directly quote the word here because its considered profane by vitals standards) symptoms" despite my ammonia level being significantly over. The level I was at can cause seizures, coma, and death. I was having severe convulsions during my stay and was in significant discomfort but never received proper medical care because my symptoms were considered psychosomatic and I was given a diagnosis of hysteria from Connor.

Dr. Connor and everyone on his staff are absolutely amazing. Toni, the receptionist, and Cheryl, the neurology NP, add even more satisfaction to all of my visits. Toni knows me by name and recognizes when I call and Cheryl is extremely smart and has first time experience with MS since her own husband has had it for years. She also does seminars for MS as a keynote speaker in the area. Dr. Connor, himself, made me feel less scared while I was in the hospital awaiting my results for the MRIs. I'm not sure why there are some negative reviews on here, but I can say that the Dr. Connor and his staff have made a 25 year old woman who has been newly diagnosed with MS very comfortable and cared about every interaction I have with them.
