Dr Healy is even better than how the people that referred me to him described him. A great combination of business like professionalism, care and friendliness. His wit and straightforwardness is most likely as sharp as his scalpel. I have nothing but confidence in his skills and abilities to help me.

I cannot speak highly enough of the doctor

I was a college student in 1990 and hurt my back playing tennis. The siatic pain in my left leg was unbearable. I went to a couple of chiropractic quacks and they made it worse. The only answer was surgery. Dr. Healy performed an L5/S1 lamenectomy and it was a success. I later went on to run three marathons and my life was back to normal. Thank you Dr. Healy.

Waited for couple months for an appointment,cost me extra money for a x ray in his office day of visit ,he had a MRI. He did some motion tests on me asked me a few questions. Then told me he could not do anything for me as he determined I did not have any nerve issues. And I should try a different kind of Doctor for my back issues Said I probably just had arthritis. His nurse or assistant came in to tell me I could leave. And told me the Dr said I should take 600 mg of Motrin 3 to 4 times a day. I said I was not allowed to take Advil or Alieve Was told Motrin would be ok. I went to Rite Aid to buy some. I read the label. Said if I was on Blood thinner I should ck with cardiology. The pharmacist told me the same thing. I called my cardiologist. Was told definitely do not take it as it was just ibuprofen with different name would be bad for my heart condition. I then by chance got a news letter from the Mayo Clinic telling about people with heart issues who take… nasids would be at a high risk of a stroke and heart attack My cardiologist told me I could take extra strength Tylenol up to 2000 mg a day ,but should have liver tests on occasion. The Dr had all my health history to look at ahead of time and if was checked seems would have known not to tell me to take that much Motrin If I would have just taken his instructions I could be in real trouble. I doubt if anybody actually read my Med list and heart problem history which is also available on my pro medica chart Gary Zachrich bad advice From a trusted Dr put my life at risk

After surgery number one, the pain was so bad I thought in would die, no one believed me for 2 days, when he finally agreed to go back in, he found the fusion had fallen completely apart, now I have permenat damage to my spine, and nerves. I'm in constant pain, and he discharged me from his practice with a huge collection of fluid on my spine from the large hole he left when he couldn't even close me correctly. Thank you Michael Healy, for ruining my life.

not only did he save my life he saved my dads life as well. my dad had the first successful brain stem aneurysm surgery ever. and its all thanks to Dr. Healy. they were so impressed with the care he gave me for my hydrocephalus surgery that he didn't want to see anyone else.

Dr. Healy is an excellent surgeon and I would not trust any other surgeon for my back problems other than him.

Anybody who has had severe back problems understands about the run around between insurance companies and doctors. Thanks to Dr Healy, all the hassles were stopped immediately after seeing him. Within a week i had my surgery approved for my broken L5 which had been causing me pain for 5months prior. No one else even cared enough to take the Proper X-Rays, but everyone else was more than happy to provide me with a huge bill and NO pain relief what so ever! Thank You Dr. Healy!!!
