I'm a forty-something former baseball player that had arthritis in part of my left knee. I was told by a few different surgeons (always get a second and even third opinion) that a partial knee replacement would be the best option. I did my homework and discovered that Mako Robotic surgery is indeed the way to go for partials as it's very accurate and only takes what needs to be replaced. There's not much margin for error with partials so it only made sense. I visited Dr. Jacobs because his hospital was the only one in the area that offered Mako. I went in and got his opinion without sharing everything I had learned, and he confirmed exactly what I researched... that Mako is the way to go for partials, hands down. I scheduled surgery and everything went great! I was back in cycle class three weeks after surgery, and 10 months post-op, it's like I have a new knee. I'm VERY pleased with Dr. Jacobs and his team and my results! I'll be back when it's time for my other knee.

Dr. Jacobs replaced my left knee in January. He was very clear about the procedure and what to expect. For me he was spot on. PT started i week after surgery. Walker for a week, cane for 2 weeks and driving at 4 weeks. At 5 week follow up, no restrictions. I'm very glad Dr. Jacobs was recommended to me. Excellent work.

Recently I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Jacobs and I can't be more thankful and appreciative. For months prior to my surgery, I was in excruciating pain, walking with a severe limp, and using a cane. Five weeks later, there's no more pain and I rarely use a cane. Dr. Jacobs is a straight-shooter and genuinely interested in your well being and positive outcomes. I also want to give a shoutout to Alex, Dr. Jacobs PA, who was always available for my questions and concerns. They make a great team!

Dr Jacobs did my left hip resurfacing July 31st. There's not another surgeon who would even do resurfacing in Maryland. My case was not easy. Dr Jacobs met with me for 30 min and answered all of my questions. We did the surgery. I am 6 weeks post op. No pain. Great care. His team is top notch. I have full trust in Dr. Jacobs and would recommend everyone to see him for a consult. He's a great guy. Very busy. Quick and to the point. He is a very talentrd surgeon and a miracle maker. His team was there for every call I made and anything I needed. Couldn't ask for better.
