This doctor was knowledgeable but very dismissive in my personal opinion. He decided not to do blood work and didn't give me a specific referral. He said to stay local after I've already tried local practitioners. Sorry to be critical. I am sure people with common textbook neurological problems could be assisted by this doctor.

Dr. Rubin was a breath of fresh air. Having dealt with complex medical issues for five people in my immediate family, I’ve been up and down the coast, to The Mayo Clinic and all top facilities searching for acknowledgment of our health concerns, searching for guidance and answers. All anyone wants who suffers with medical issues deserves is to be seen, heard and helped. Dr. Rubin listened to me, and acknowledged my concerns. He was very kind and helpful. I was very pleased with my visit and would not hesitate to look to him for further assistance.

Terrible, I don't think he liked me because I am a professional myself and he doesn't like competition and intelligence. I found him quite lazy wanting me to find records from decades ago when he has staff to do that and I have no help. I can hardly walk and I am in constant pain which did not phase him in the least. I do not understand how a doctor like this can exist, he apparently does not like people, no less figure out what their problem is. The things he said to me were quite amazing. Don't waste your time because you will only get frustrated.

Dr. Rubin is one of the best Neurologists' you will encounter. He is smart, funny, witty, empathetic. He will take the time to listen to your problem and then he will evaluate the situation so he can give you the best overall care.

Dr. Michael Rubin is one of the most intelligen, thoughtful, and thorough physicians I have ever come across. I have been going to different doctors for the same medical issue for a few years. No one could figure out the cause of my ailment. The minute I saw Dr. Rubin and told him what my symptoms were, he knew right away the cause of my medical problem. Dr. Rubin is definitely a life saver. I highly recommend him.

We had a great experience at Cornell with our first appointment. My wife has neuropathic pain, we had 7:30 appointment, Dr Rubin was very punctual and was there 5 minutes earlier. He was extremely thorough with history and physical exam and took his time and didn't rush through anything. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional and has excellent bedside manners. After history and physical he explained to us in detail what he thinks is going on and what's his plan with further testing. He made us feel comfortable and reassured with his knowledge and demeanor. Will highly recommend him.

Dr. Rubin is an individual who derives great satisfaction from his work. Rather than hastily concluding his presentations, he invests a significant amount of time in elucidating his findings. He exhibits a remarkable level of meticulousness, kindness, and respect, which are unfortunately uncommon traits in today's world.

What a wonderful doctor! Dr. Rubin was thorough, thoughtful and wholly transparent as he evaluated the condition that brought me to see him. His explanation of what was wrong was perfectly clear and illustrated with a mock-up of vertebrae. A special person.

It was our first time meeting Dr. Rubin. He is very kind and attentive. He listened to all my husbands concerns and we didn’t feel rushed or like a number. Doctor Rubin is friendly and very kind person. We were able to do all required tests including EMg, MIR and lab order in the same day we had appointment. Looking forward to have next treatment there.

Dr Rubin first saw me v early on a painful morning when he quickly evaluated my needs and sprang into action to have me admitted to the hospital. He and his staff managed to place me in a very crowded Emergency department and to have me admitted . In followup, I spent 30 days in various stages of care during which he was clearly following my case. Since discharge, he has been the most responsive and attentive of physicians, - caring, attentive, pleasant, and communicative. I have been having good results for a chronic condition and know he has consulted with other doctors and reviewed my unusual co-existing treatments for advisability. It is important to me to have on-going professional supervision. I could not be in better hands than this excellent physician.
