It's been a little over a year and now am cancer free! I give glory to God, but He is using the knowledge and wisdom of Dr Dattoli and Dr Soni to manifest healing! I would highly recommend them as top notch in all aspects; experience, bedside manner, protocols, technology and empathy! Great staff and administrators and techs as well! All around a great experience in spite of the negative of any cancer diagnosis!

Dr. Dattoli is by far the most intelligent and caring physician that I have ever had. His “pedigree” is unrivaled and he treats his patients like family. I had a very aggressive cancer 6 years ago and I researched my case and left Massachusetts to see Dr. Dattoli. I’m so glad that I did as I am cancer-free. I really don’t know how he does it but 6 years ago he called me at home at night for 90 minutes! He has since called me 5 times at home! He is so warm and understanding. I’ve met so many patients who share similar stories. The technologies at his Cancer Center are unique and cannot be found elsewhere using radiation delivered with pinpoint accuracy. If only my other physicians like Dr. Dattoli! I owe him my life and then some.

I am 62 years old and upon being diagnosed with prostate cancer I found many conflicting opinions regarding treatment options. My cancer was high risk (Gleason 7,8 and 9) and my urologist told me that if I had radiation, I could never have surgery again! Then, I went to a community support group where I learned that most cancers return after being surgically removed following which radiation and hormones are recommended compounding the side effects of the surgery! It was suggested that I contact Dr. Dattoli who is an expert in all facets of the disease and who successfully treated a few acquaintances. He called me one night and gave a very balanced opinion highlighting the pros and cons of all treatments including his own. He was never pushy. I decided to leave Philly and I was treated by Dr. Dattoli and his wonderful team and completed my treatment 2 years ago. I was on hormones for 6 months and did have side-effects from that but none from the radiation and seeding. I am now cancer-free and extremely happy to be back to my norm with no side effects at all.

In 2002 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and preceded to have a radical prostatectomy thinking that would take care of the cancer. That was not to be because 5 1/2 years later my cancer returned and I elected to be treated with IMRT thinking this will certainly take care of it. Well much to my surprise it was only 2 1/2 years later the cancer returned so now I knew I was dealing with recurring prostate cancer. The doctors who had treated me and several others I talked to told me there was nothing else they could do for me except put me on deprivation therapy and I did not want that. I was now in search of a doctor who could do MORE for me. As luck would have it I heard about Dr. Dattoli from a friend of mine and gave his clinic a call. To my surprise Dr.Dattoli called me one evening about 5 days later and we talked for about an hour and a half. I knew from that call this was the doctor I was looking for. Dr.Dattoli made me very comfortable and answered all the questions I had taking as much time as I needed. After the call I entered his treatment program which first had me taking several CTs and MRIs which identified my cancer location traveling up my lymph system from my pelvic region to my chest area. I then met the rest of his staff when I began treatments at his cancer center in Sarasota,Fl. I was totally surprised on how welcome his staff made my wife and I feel. Dr. Dattoli had already told me that being one of his patients I would be treated like family and not just a number. We were finding out this to be very true. Everyone of his staff are truly wonderful and go to great lengths to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible and we did feel just like family. I finished my treatments with Dr.Dattoli in 2012 and have been cancer free since. I think it’s of the utmost importance to find the right doctor for the kind of treatment you need and I found that doctor in Dr. Dattoli. I wish I could have found him before going through all the other that I had already been through but at least I found him before it was to late.If you have been unfortunate to have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and need that SPECIAL doctor I would say look no further because I don’t think you’ll find a finer doctor. You certainly won’t find one that is more knowledgeable, experienced, or that cares as much about his patients as Dr.Dattoli. He gave me my second lease on life just as I was about to run out of options and I’m sure he can do the same for you.

If 5 stars are great, I give Dr. Dattoli and his team 10 Stars You will love being a member of the "Dattoli Ensemble". I have been since age 57 and that was five years ago. I really don't know how they do it but Dr. Dattoli and his team are so inviting, warm, professional and simply astounding from beginning to the end of treatment. I forgot about my cancer and actually enjoyed meeting patients who had come from around the country and world and who had been successfully treated many years ago (some having really complicated cases). I met no one who was unhappy. I also met Dr. Dattoli's partner, Dr. Kaminsky, and he too is a very pleasant and knowledgable person. The technology within the Dattoli facility is second to none (DART) and this team really has their act together. I own a business and employ over a hundred and I honestly don't know how Dr. Dattoli manages to pay so much attention to every detail of the operation in the cancer center. I don't know how he finds the time to constantly write medical articles and even books while being the guest lecturer at the world's most famous universities. He is the foremost expert on prostate brachytherapy (seed implants) and the hospital that he uses also works seamlessly. I'm cancer-free at age 64 having been treated 5 years ago. I can't recommend the Dattoli Cancer Center enough!

I wish they would of told me the truth about what to expect I would have chosen surgery. Changes u 100 percent for the worst mentally and physically surgery is best if u have a choice

In 2003 I had the radiation/implant done by Dr. Dattoli ,he and his staff made the procedure as easy and pleasant as it could be. Since that time I go back yearly for an annual check up.The results have been 100 percent cued,no sign of any cancer what so ever. I thank god and Dr.Dattoli for these results. Donald T.Gilbert

Following a diagnosis of prostate cancer, treatment options can become very confusing. The initial thinking is to "take it out" and virtually every Urologist will tell you that removal is the best option. I did a lot of research and found that this simply wasn't true and that the cancer returns between 65% to 95% after the surgery. Moreover, most patients suffer impotence and even worse is incontinence. At first, patients like myself are told that if I have radiation first, you can never have surgery and that's simply NOT TRUE. After radiation, surgery is certainly an option, although many other "salvage treatments" are better and associated with less side effects than surgery anyway. It's interesting how radiation suddenly becomes the best thing since sliced bread to the urologist to clean up the mess. Living in Wisconsin, I didn't like any good treatment options nearby when I decided to be treated with radiation. I wanted the number 1 Radiation Oncologist with the best technologies in the world. That led me to Dr Dattoli in Sarasota, Florida. He's brilliant, has an incredible pedigree and developed a very precise form of radiation called "DART". He also pioneered seed implants and my research confirmed that combining radiation with seeding has the best cure rates with the least side effects of any therapy. He is very well published and his clinical treatment team are unbelievable. His partner, Dr Kaminsky seems to be very pleasant and also has an impressive pedigree. I just returned home to frigid Wisconsin having gotten really good news from Dr Dattoli. I can't recommend him enough!

I was to rush into surgery for Prostate Cancer, so said the urologist. things were bad! Yet not wanting to make rapid decisions without reason, my wife and I went about checking the alternatives. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr Dattoli having done extensive research after being diagnosed with a somewhat complicated prostate cancer (from DaVinci Robot to Protons to Cyberknife etc). My confidence grew as I realized that Dr Dattoli pretty much lives and breathes prostate cancer, and he made a very sound recommendation combining a little of each of what others recommended. I very quickly made arrangements to be treated at his cancer center. Dr Dattoli spent another 1.5 hours when he met me in consultation and he always made himself available to me during the treatment process. His staff is also truly remarkable. Meanwhile, I was treated with a proprietary form of high technology radiation called "DART" which is the most precise form of radiation anywhere. I breezed through the treatment process and today I am free from prostate cancer with no side effects. This was a painless process and is so different from other patients I met elsewhere who had other therapies, especially the robotic surgery. While at Dattoli's, I met other patients with similar stories and similar outcomes as mine and some were treated as long as 20 years ago when Dr Dattoli was in New York City. His background is so impressive and he is renowned internationally. I liked Sarasota so much that I recently purchased a condo in Sarasota, a nice reprieve from the Northeast. I can't say enough positive things about Dr Dattoli, his research center and team!
