Dr. Michael Foster Neel

When he was an obgyn in The Colony TX in 2002 at Live Oak OBGYN, he did a partial hysterectomy on me. The office visits were uneasy feeling and he didn't behave like any other OBGYN I've ever had. I was young and naive, and just didn't know to stand up for myself. So, I allowed the surgery. The first time I woke up afterwards, I was told they left sponges inside me from the surgery. The second time I woke up, they said it again! I was operated on and reopened twice. All in a row. The third time I woke up, I had a new Dr named Dr. Leslie Skinner Welborne and no cervix! I was young and Dr. Welborne snowed me over making me believe that all of it was normal and none of it was to be concerned about. How trusting I was. The scarring inside is bad. The stitches string used in that surgery migrated their way through my body, and created a hole in my stomach next to my belly button, and exited...5 years later! The material was not dissolving stitching, said the Dr I took them in to look at,… and he said they came from my partial hysterectomy. I have a permanent indented and ugly scar next to my belly button, the size of my belly button, that 10 stitches came out of. If I hadn't been lied to, I'd have sued. Don't let him operate on you.

Dr. Neel is the best. He is very professional, kind, and compassionate. I would recommend him over anyone.

My experience was NOT A GOOD ONE!! I was a walk-in with a level 12 out of 10 BACK PAIN! My sister had to plead with the front desk to get someone to agree to see me. Then after waiting 1 1/2 hours, I got called back only to wait another 20 minutes for the lights to start flickering because of the weather. Then the front desk people come to tell us that I can not see the doctor! They said their system was down. WHAT WAS MOST DISAPPOINTING IS THAT THE DOCTOR DID NOT BOTHER TO EVEN COME MEET ME! This made me think that he had no intention of seeing me and the weather causing the system to go down was just an excuse! AND, the elevator was out so I had to walk down 2 flights of stairs when I was already in excruciating pain! YOUR URGENT CARE BUSINESS IS NOT ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

He has delivered all 5 of our babies and we just love him!

Dr Neel has been Fabulous throughout my pregnancy. He answers all of my questions and is always available when I have more to ask of him. He will definately be my OB for any future pregnancies

Dr Neel is very caring Doctor. Gets right to the problem.
