Immediately felt comfortable with this doctor, very soft spoken and tells you what you need to hear nothing sugar coated. I feel he’s the reason I will be around to raise my grandchildren. I cannot ever thank him enough for what he’s done for me.

By far the worst Dr. I've had encounters with. From the first minute he walked through the door he made sure everyone knew how annoyed he was to be there. He was there ten minutes maybe and left till my daughter was so close to delivering the baby was crowning come to find out the Dr. Had left the hospital and had to be called back one of the nurses came in and said he's in his car and heading to the hospital. he arrived his attitude was worse made a grand entrance took his time gearing up keep in mind the baby's head is crowning she did this all natural. He did absolutely nothing to comfort or guide my daughter to make her feel comfortable with having her first baby

I love the NP Jackie and Dr Van Riper is a very good doctor. The office staff isn't very friendly and they don't seem to stay accurate with patient info and insurance. I'm currently getting bills from a few years ago because of errors made on my account. Every time I talk to the staff, they're rude and always seem to come up with more ways to suddenly charge more money. I'd love to stay with the practice but the office staff has made me want to find another doctor with a more honest and friendly staff.

Hes a great doctor so far ...... seems kinda mean but you don't want him as a friend you want him to tell you the things that matter and are important. Other than that he's a busy man running back and fourth delivering babies ..... my friend nearly died giving birth and dr van riper saved her from bleeding out. That's one reason i chose him he is good at what he does!!

I've had a hard time figuring out what's been wrong with me. He did do several tests to tell me I had IBS. I think he tried to help, but that's not what I have. I also don't think he listens very well. I think he's probably great with dealing pregnancies, though.
