A patient for 15 years. He’s the Best! I

We are fortunate to have access to Dr. Galambos and other highly competent physicians at PIedmont Mountainside Hospital. I have more than a passing knowledge of Physicians since my son is a Physician and Medical Faculty Professor at another well known University. Additionally I spent much of my professional life Defending Malpractice Claims against Physicians. Of significance is the fact that Dr. Galambos spent a great deal of time reviewing my medical records before he saw me on time. He is methodical, instructive and. explains in detail what needs to be done to correct the problem. Once he made the diagnosis Dr. Galambos performed a complex procedure flawlessly. No reasonable person could ask for better medical care and treatment than that rendered by Dr. Michael Galambos. His education, multiple degrees and being selected as Chief Resident attest to the fact that his peers thought as highly of him as do I and my Thank you Dr. Galambos for your outstanding care and treatment.

I am high risk for colon cancer as my dad and 2 of his 3 siblings had it. While both siblings died from the disease or complications from surgery (and this was 25-50 years ago), my dad had 8 inches of his colon removed and he was fine afterwards until he passed at the age of 89 about 10 years ago. In any case, I started having colonoscopies when I was 40, and I am 64 now. Dr. Galambos has performed 2 colonoscopies on me in the past 8 years (2011 and 2016) and I am due to have another one in a couple of more years. I have been treated with respect at his clinic, and Dr. Galambos comes highly recommended by my PCP and he is very talented and a great doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Galambos for several year's. If you have Liver issues or gastrointestinal he's your Doc.

I met Dr. Galambos several years ago through my Son who has been his patient for many years. Due to the fact that I had colon cancer over 22 years ago, I have had numerous colonoscopies. However, at the time I was living in KY and have arranged to have all procedures done there. I decided I should contact a doctor closer to Ellijay, so I talked to Dr. Galambos and gave him all of my information. My Son and I both agree he is one of the most knowledgeable and pleasant doctors we have ever had experience with - worth 5 stars, for sure!

Bedside manner? Rude and cold. Reviewed his records and confirmed w/his office that this was this doctor. Drew no fluids. Didn't even make eye contact, but wrote that I was "drunk". Why? I couldn't walk "heel-toe". I had no cartilage in my rt. knee and very little in my left. Have had full, double knee replacement surgery since, but still struggle. What an a__! The only good thing? I keep b/4 and after x-rays of my knees in my car in case a dim-witted, lazy, thoughtless Galambos-like cop pulls me over and asked me to perform the same test so he/she can "give me a bad review" and then haul me off to jail. Funny thing. No cop has ever asked me anything like that. Yet I was "drunk" in this boob's office.

Dr. Galambos is extraordinarily personable, attentive, non-alarmist. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough--intelligent, warm, and easy to talk to. As someone with Crohn's Disease, I've had loads of gastroenterologists, and Dr. Galambos is by far the best. I'd recommend him to anybody!

Dr. Galambos is great. He is very caring and has a great bedside manner. He took the time to listen to my concerns and come up with the most practical, cheapest solution. I would highly recommend him to anyone.Side note: If you are going to the Jasper office location, call their office for directions. Do not use Google or yahoo directions. They are both wrong and can take you a 1/2 hour out of your way.

Dr. G. is a good listener, has a good bedside manner, and is very personable. I was very pleased with my overall experience with his office. He was thorough, and is a good communicator. Although I can be very critical, I would rank him as exceptional.
