Dr.Kalisvaart is the best in the game doesn’t matter if it’s a shoulder, knee or hip he’s been my go to for good reason. It’s rare you’ll find such a knowledgeable and decorated ortho such as himself with no ego. Instead he’s kind, considerate, and listens while thoroughly explaining the pros and cons and best course of action of any situation. Thank you for a successful shoulder, knee, soon to be other shoulder and for doing incredible work on my husband. We wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it.

Michael provided a successful surgery and then defined expectations for healing and recovery that were understandable and realistic. My recovery basically matched those expectations and I am pleased with the timeline and my condition six months in.

I had a great visit. Doctor was very professional and kind. Explained my shoulder pain after looking at my x-rays and doing a few physical tests right in the office. Would recommend him to anyone.

Great experience with my fill SLAP tear and full rotator cuff tear surgery

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr Michael Kalisvaart, MD should be ashamed of the care he gave me. I was reprimanded for the amount of time it took me to come back in for care, I was offered a cortisol shot, then with no notice or clarification with me it was suddenly changed to an antiinflammatory after he left the room and his assistant came in. The doctor failed to notice that a person with asthma as severe as mine should avoid NSAIDs. I clearly explained that my pain was at "an 11 the worst it's ever been in my life." Dr. Kalisvaart lied on my Visit Notes and said my pain was "a 5 and moderate." Absolutely unacceptable, Dr. Kalisvaart is a liar, racist, and should never be allowed to provide "care" for POC marginalized identities. Avoid him at all costs.

Dr Kalisvaart and his team are always prepared, efficient and responded my questions and needs in a timely manner. I would recommend his team to all my friends and families. Ben Lin

This doctor is great. He has made it a priority to make a trusting relationship with his patients. He is caring and takes the time to listen to concerns. He never makes you feel rushed or stupid. My husband has had 2 hip surgeries with him. The doctor reached out personally after each surgery to check in on him. He also made it a priority to touch base with me, his wife, before and after each procedure. He’s an amazing doctor and truly a blessing from God. I would and do recommend Dr. Kalisvaart to all any anyone. You will be happy you trusted such a compassionate doctor with your body.
