Dr. Michael Robert Nabity, MD

Dr. Nabity delivered my daughter. He was very supportive and personable for 9 months and beyond. He is such an understanding and responsive doctor. Highly recommended for gynecological, labor & delivery and everything involving women's health.

I have been going to Dr. Nabity got years he has done all of my surgery's and he is very gentle. and understanding.

Loved Dr. Nabity he was a wonderful doctor and had great bedside manners. He delivered my youngest son. Would recommend him highly.

He was helpful and informative through the entire pregnancy and delivery. My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with his wonderful, caring manner along with his skills and expertise during the stressful, yet exciting time of welcoming our new addition to the family.

What is most memorable is that he said "Even Sumo wrestlers have a special diet." in talking to me about my weight. I know I'm fat, you would be a lousy Dr. to not discuss it with me, but a Sumo wrestler, rude! He also did not do an internal exam during my pelvic that day. I'm sure that was because of my weight. Never again, and talking with another friend she said she had a similar experience with him. This time he asked her if she was on a "special diet". She said no. His response, you must be to have gained that much weight! By his comments he was the catalyst to having two women refuse to want or to go to any GYN ever again. How's that for preventative medicine.

Some waiting time is expected at the doctors office. However, 40-60 minutes past an appointment time is excessive. This not convenient for those of us who work. Dr. Nabity is clearly overbooked as he seems quite distracted and confused at every appointment. I would not recommend this office unless you have plenty of free time to wait for a doctor who has no idea who you are and why you are there. Another bonus, the last time I had to call for my test results the staff member who returned my call flat out told me she didn't know what my results meant.

I was referred to Dr Nabity to follow up on some problems I was having. Unfortunately on my first vist the staff barely seemed to understand why I was there. Dr. Nabity was distracted and kind of confused by my chart. He offered very little explanation of the test results. I have had a total of 3 visits and same results every time. I show up for my appointment early and end up waiting over an hour. I never get a call back with test results and always have to folow up myself. I don't feel the office is able to manage their scheduling or follow up with patients. I can only say I am happy this is not my primary care physician as I would not tolerate the waiting times and poor communications of test results.

Dr Nabity is the best doctor in Omaha!!! He diagnosed me properly and saved my life! There isn't enough space to provide all the information, but he is genuine and follows up with patients.

Dr. Nabity has been my OB/GYN for 21 years. He is an outstanding physician! He is the best in Omaha! He has gotten me through a miscarriage, tubal and 3 high risk pregnancies.

Dr Nabity tends to spend most of my visit talking about diet and nutrition (I am not obese, mind you) instead of issues related to my visit.He's very attentive once he snaps out of diet lecture mode.
