Dr Michelle Welch

I was a few minutes early for my appointment. I waited about 20 minutes past the appointment time to be called back to the exam room area. Then they left me sitting there for almost an hour before the doctor came in. It wouldn't have been as bad as it was if someone from the staff had just stepped in after 15 minutes and let me know the length of the wait or if there was an emergency. This is not an unreasonable request. It's not good customer service to let patients wait that long without some type of interaction. And, this is not the first time it has happened to me!

I went to this office for first time today, and was highly impressed. I saw the nurse practitioner, and she gave my whole body a checking over for skin problems, treated several on my face, then prescribed a topical med that was not available in Lexington, and its coming to me from Anderson, SC.

First timer there, waited 1 hour 5 mins before walking straight out the door (didn't see any " doctor" ) It's a shame these people don't value your time but you must value theirs and be on time for your appointment. Do not recommend (unless you have all day to do nothing but wait, actually wouldn't recommend them if you did).

Started going to De. Welch about 3 years ago. She and her staff are excellent and caring. I'm not sure on the other reviewers but I've never had an excessive wait.

knowledgeable, thorough, great manner

Dr. Welch is great at what she does but poor scheduling issues. This made my 2nd time I had to wait for over an hour. Last visit they offered a FREE Facial told them no thanks.Today I left because they called me back and I waited in that room for at least an hour not seeing the doctor. Decided to leave since my time is very important also.

I was a patient of Dr. Welch for years, always excessive wait times. My last appointment was for 850 am as I was in the room waiting for her I opened the door to see when I would be seen because it was now 0950 am, Dr. Welch was in the hall speaking with a representative of some products etc. So of course I was irritated when she entered the room and said how busy she was with the "many" cancer patients she has seen this morning. (If your office opens at 8 and my appointment is for 850 how many patients were scheduled?) When I asked her this she said that had nothing to do with it and she "wasn't dealing with this today, and suggested another dermatologist. As I was leaving the office I turned and said you were dealing with products not patients and of coarse she denied this. This from a Dr that I had been seeing for years.

I have been a patient for a long time..all of a sudden I can't get anyone to answer or return my calls . I have gone by the bussiness, cars are there but door locked and no one will answer the door. I loved her..she was a great Dr. But feel of she cares about her patients we would have received an email or call as to what is going on.

Horrible experience is an understatement!!! Lack of concern and care for patient issues. Terrible bedside manner, both dr. and nurse. More concerned with typing than taking care of medical issues. Could care less about explaining anything. Checkout staff appear miserable and are rude. Definitely not what I expected and no patient deserves to be treated the way that I was. I let them know about my concerns with how they do business and told them I didn't want to come back if this is how they care for patients. They said ok. No eye contact. No compassion. No let's work this out. Zero anything. Like talking to a robot.
