Dr. Soliman saved my life!!! I had developed abdominal pain and a large mass over the inflation port of my LapBand. The initial symptoms developed over a weekend and my original bariatric surgeon did not return my calls to their "hotline". When I did get an appointment, my surgeon chewed me out in front of my wife (an RN) for going to my ED for help. "Why would you go to that ER? They don't know anything about a LapBand." Needless to say, that was my last appointment there. I knew Dr. Soliman since I work in one of the EDs where he practices. I made an appointment and was able to get in in just two days. One week later, he removed my LapBand because it had eroded and created a hole in my esophagus the size of roughly a quarter. And that mass was an abscess that somehow remained intact. If Dr. Soliman had not caught all of that, it could have ruptured and I would have developed sepsis and could have died. Dr. Soliman has become my friend. He always cecks in on me when he's in the ED on… a consult. He is highly skilled, compassionate and friendly. I can't recommend him enough. MJP

Dr. Soliman is one of the most caring surgeons I have encountered. In addition, he is exceptionally well trained in the most cutting edge surgeries. I would highly recommend him to anyone...more so than to any other surgeon I've encountered.
