I did find Dr Rutherford a caring individual ,however when calling her office you always go to voicemail. I found her staff to be unprofessional and they did not follow thru with my insurance company for required tests. I will not be returning to Dr. Rutherford as I feel I was not getting the care I needed. I am now under the care of another Cardiologist who seems genuinely interested in how I feel.

It took over a week once to get a preauthorization, they said," sorry we verlooked1I was at the door when they all cancelled to go to a funeral. They should pay more attention to the living ,not the dead! Next time you decide to take a vacation and move my appointment further up, go to Mexico to worship the dead! It has been 5 days now and I do not have my replacement for the Valsartan that was recalled! Your nurse has got to be irresponsible or dumb! Its all going to be on you, your responsible! by the way is it going to be Olmessartan or Irbesartan? I looked at the substitute, some I have been on! not good! there's a lot of people who know what problems I've had with all the doctors slapping labels on me1 yes,I,m angry cause they ignore me! There would be no problem if everyone did their job!

I wish her office was not so far away from our home. I travel for two hours to see her. She cares about her patients. Dr. Rutherford shows great empathy and takes time to explain everything. I just love her. She would be a great granddaughter if I was allowed to choose another. She is a special soul and I pray for her happiness and well being. Roanoke is blessed to have her.

Dr. Rutherford is the best cardiac doctor I have ever seen. She takes good care of me and keeps me informed about my health

Dr. Rutherford is the best! I was sent to her by another great Dr. and she has been a life saver. Doc really cares about her patients (me) and takes excellent care of me. She had to recommend other Doctors for me to see and she was right on with them as well.
