Dr. Monica Tracy Agar, DO

SHE IS AN EXCELLENT PROVIDER

I've been going to Dr. Monica Agar for about 18 years now. She is an excellent doctor and makes you feel at ease with everything. She also explains things thoroughly and takes the time to make you feel cared about as a patient. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a gynecologist. She is among the best in the area in my opinion.

Dr. Agar is excellent, but the office is very poorly run. It's difficult to get lab results or prescription refills. Office staff is ok. Phone wait times are very long. If you're not pregnant I would go elsewhere.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Agar and she was fantastic! She has a wonderful bedside manner and truly takes time with her patients. I suffer from vaginismus, so my annual pap smear can truly be an ordeal. Dr. Agar was very gentle and caused me very little discomfort (unlike my previous gyns). I highly recommend her!

She is a great doctor - she spends a lot of time with you. We had miscarriage and she personally called to check on me and my husband! She is simply amazing - even if we move I would go to her! My only issue is the staff and the phone,

I have been seeing Dr. Agar for about a year now and I feel she is a great doctor and is very caring. I feel very comfortable with her. Most of the staff is nice too. My biggest complaint is the same as others. Their phone service is a DISASTER. You can wait on hold up for someone to answer your call for a VERY long time. I have never seen anything like it. I thought there was a temporary problem with their phone service but thats just how their phones are. I think that aspect is really poor service but everything else is pretty good.

Dr. Agar is really knowledgeable and is able to answer all of my questions in-depth. She really takes the time to make sure my questions are answered. Getting a routine care appointment is usually EXTREMELY difficult if you work business hours. The staff managing phone calls is difficult at best, sometimes rude. Also, my credit card was double charged on my last visit. I am considering an alternative care provider even though I feel Dr. Agar's care is very good.
