Dr. Nader Amir Nassif, MD

Dr. Nassif preformed a total knee replacement on me 12 days ago. The surgery went well and I walked out of the hospital the same day. Dr. Nassif is an outstanding, caring, and extremely competent physician. He has gone out of his way to ensure that I have been given the best possible treatment in every way. I anticipate an excellent outcome when I have recovered and completed my rehab. I strongly recommend Dr. Nassif, his staff, and Hoag for any orthopedic needs or procedures!

Dr Nassif gave me two surgical options for fractured femur just above a knee replacement. One was attempt fixation of fracture. The other was to cut entire fractured area off and replace with a new knee with a long femoral rod. I chose the less radical procedure. But in the pre-op room, minutes before surgery, he visited me and told me he decided to eliminate the less radical procedure. He said he would only do the partial femur amputation and if I didn't agree, he would cancel the surgery and I would have to find another doctor. I was terrified, and afraid of what would happen if my femur wasn't treated, so I agreed under significant duress. He botched the surgery, and months later wanted to re-do it. He also never told me this radical procedure included removing all my knee ligaments. No, I did not let him re-do, instead had better doctor fix it, who explained what Dr. Nassif had done wrong. I do not trust this man. I should have sued him! This is an honest review of the surgical… procedure he preformed.

Dr. Nassif performed a second revision on my hip due to hardware failure of the fixation screws. Extensive socket reconstruction was required. He is an extraordinarily skillful surgeon with specialized training and experience. He is caring, compassionate and is the best in his field.

Dr. Nassif replaced my left hip. Everything went exactly as planned. He is an absolute PRO. I would recommend him in a heart beat. He is caring, compassionate and competent. At 81, I may not be ready for the 100 yard dash yet, but just give me a couple of more weeks and then look out.
