Dr. Nancy Canter Weiner, MD

Offensive, dismissive, arrogant and had my husband completely fooled with her expertise . After blunt force trauma to my face, causing a Traumatic Brain Injury, I was having ongoing pain over one eye, swelling and blurred burning vision. After my Optometrist determined it was not an eye issue, it was coming from behind my eye, he recommended I see Dr. Weiner. It took her ten seconds to disregard his exam calling him "ridiculous". After some brief testing she told my husband there wasn't a thing wrong with my eye. I also have a small brain lesion along with a brain aneurysm, that I thought could be causing the eye issue, she stated it was "no big deal" it was benign and inoperable, I needed to leave it alone. When I showed her photos of my blackened eye that happens randomly she dismissed that as well as having no idea why it was happening. My husband believed every word she said, making me feel it was all in my head. He was happy she said I was perfectly fine. Still suffering with… severe eye pain, burning and unable to read without having these symptoms, it's been over a year with no improvement. I was finally diagnosed with "Occipital Neuralgia". One of Dr. Weiner's "interests" is Traumatic Brain Injury". I guess I wasn't interesting enough the day she saw me.

I suspect everyone goes to the first appointment crying. You’ve gotten a diagnosis that isn’t easy to take. After a two month wait, I finally got to meet her in person. She surprised me with her compassion, willingness to talk and share, she was humble and kind. I’m confident is is the most remarkable person I’ve met and if not for the diagnoses I wouldn’t have met her. So, I wouldn’t change a thing. Very grateful for her!

THIS DR IS MENTALLY UNSTABLE, WILL GET IN YOUR FACE, YELL AT YOU IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE LOBBY AND YOUR CHILDREN. OFFICE IS OLD, DIRTY AND FILTY. OFFICE STAFF IS RUDE AND THE DR IS SO WORRIED ABOUT COVID THAT YOU MORE THAN LIKELY WOULD NOT GET A GOOD EXAM. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS ON THIS ONE PEOPLE. THIS DR IS OFF!

Referred by William Segal, M.D. for further examination & definitive diagnosis of post-cataract eye problem since 7 years ago. Jane (office) was warm, patient & welcoming. Had to wait to see Dr. Weiner; WELL WORTH IT! Dr. took time to get to know me, does all of her tests, wanted to see MRI film not a writtten report, explained well, gave me a definitive diagnosis. I thank God for friend who referred me to Dr. Segal and he to Dr. Weiner. Felt sad when told didn't need to return. :-(

Sorry to say that Dr. Nancy Weiner is not Good because I doubt whether she is knowledge able in her profession. Whatever patient asks her reply is "I DON'T KNOW" even for a simple question. I won't refer this Dr. for anyone even to my ENEMY

When I tell others about my experience with pseudo tumor cerabia, (17 years ago) the highlight is Dr. Nancy Weiner. The very intelligent, caring, short, fireball Doctor that stood up for me to my insurance company and helped to toughen up my emotions, by being thorough in explaining my condition in the easiest layman terms that a child could understand. Her time with me was genuine caring. I will be forever grateful she walked beside during that journey. I had an eye exam today and it made me think of her. So years later I'm finally writing the review I should've written years ago. Thank you Dr. Weiner. I wish you the best!
