Dr. Nancy Ann Mcleod, MD

My mother,who was Dr. McLeod 's patient, had had neurologists who were rushed and dismissive. We were fortunate enough to have an ER nurse who saw that my mother was not being treated efficiently as an outpatient and recommended Dr. McLeod. From the moment Dr. McLeod addressed my mother she addressed my mother respectfully and truly listened to my mother. The medication changes and treatment Dr. McLeod provided increased my mother's quality of life and Dr. McLeod was supportive of mom's home health worker and me when we were emotionally drained in my mother's last months. Dr. McLeod made it possible for my mother to feel in charge and valued even when my mother was experiencing advanced dementia. I will be forever grateful for Dr. McLeod's quick response on the two occasions I had to call with treatment concerns after hours. I give Dr. McLeod's 5 stars.

I just visited with this doctor yesterday and she was very condescending very demanding and very rude. I sat for about 45 minutes before she was able to see me and everything I said she corrected me and it was wrong. After I left I had to sign some paperwork and she went to go put my paper on the counter and there was a roach on the counter and she just brushed it off onto the floor and then handed me the pen to sign the paper. This is not an appropriate medical facility.

office is a little different, exam table looks as it has not been used in a year, you get to sit in a wing back chair. actually its great ! bedside manner is very good...

MD is not board certified , she did not follow protocos for diagnosis and did not interpret Mir scans correctly.

I absolutely love Dr. McLeod, super sweet, bedside manners are wonderful. She always looked at every option available for me and we made my health plan together, what was best for myself and my family. I highly recommend her to anyone.

The neurologist of choice in our area.

I have been a patient for a few years- and reading the other reviews I had to speak up. I have had a few nueros and had to change to to insurance changes, relocation ect.She is by far the one I wish I had first. She is willing to look at the big picture and consider everything such as outside influences to come up with a solution for you. Her office is a renovated home in a quiet area and all types of patients have come thru her door. The review that stated the place was a mess could have come in after a patient had an episode, I have seen that happen. The place has always been tidy and homey when I have come in. She listens and makes a point of giving extra time if you need it, quiet spoken but wants to understand what is going on, wants to know symtoms and problems between appointments and is not a doc that pushes pills to make you go away. She is great with frustrated patients and I would recommend her to anyone wanting help and attention and doesn't want to be just another number.

I was first seen as a consult in the hospital. Dr. McLeod spent a great length of time explaining my condition to me and was thorough, answering all the questions my husband and I had. As an RN, I appreciated this. The last neurologist I saw left me running cold. My office visit was excellent. Again Dr. McLeod gave me all the time and attention I needed, suggested a website to learn more about my condition, and followed up the next day about contacting another Dr. I was seeing. I would definitely recommend her to other patients. Dr. McLeod's office is not as impressive as she is, but as my doctor, I am well pleasedwith her.

Deplorable, nasty office. Very unclean! The nurse had to bring in a chair to take my vitals because the room and bed were full of clutter and mess. I can't believe that this doctor has any credentials left with the medical associations. They must not check their offices very often, or their patients. Condescending and demeaning is an accurate description. She seems to cater to patients who are older with a current diagnosis... Could this be an effort to just collect the medicare kickbacks by just writing prescriptions and not have to do any real work? Even other medical professionals will give you a stern warning to beware if they hear that you go to this doctor. Again - Run Don't Walk - find another doctor.

When I explained the recurring symptoms I had been experiencing - I included that I feel like I continue to "hit a wall" when I finally begin to feel better... She then told me I didn't know what hitting a wall was... She said that when I become unable to walk through her door then I have hit a wall... Many people have different degrees of illness and although I am extremely lucky to be able to walk through her door - that doesn't mean that what I am experiencing is any less important to me - nor should be to her... I also explained that some of the issues had occurred after I was playing tennis (one would think she would be proud that I was out getting exercise and trying my best to stay fit) however, when I added that my friend had to take me to the ER after the match - she asked if I was coming to see her so I didn't have to inconvenience my friends by not meeting them for lunch after tennis but having to visit me in the hospital instead... I don't understand... HUH??? Why was… she so inconsiderate??? I was seeking help - not a beat down... If you want to feel put down and walk out of the office feeling that you just don't matter, go see her - If you want help in a caring and compassionate way - make an appointment somewhere else.
