Susanna his wife is running the office. She is insane. Malpractice.

It has been a frustrating 6 months as this doctor has been MIA, leaving all of his patients with no answers, no covering doctor, no medicine refills! Completely unacceptable. I have requested medical records 3 times and have gotten no response from the office! This is not an ethical manner to treat any human being seeking services from a doctor. Very untrustworthy and should be reported to the Bureau of Westwood Board of Health Services -

Appointments are nearly impossible to get then when you do, prepare for multiple changes in addition to a 3-5 hour visit time with most of that being spent in the waiting room. There is no doctor great enough to justify running a practice this way. If everyone has the same issue then newsflash it's not the patients. Find somewhere else to go where your time is respected and that has a organized staff. Apologies are useless if you are not implementing change and I can tell you I know people who went to this dr years ago who will say the same exact thing. Yes we want an attentive Dr but at what cost? People have lives and other things to do. There are doctors who won't see patients if they are late yet this office thinks it is ok to have people waiting for hours.

I see a lot of people complain about the long wait. Well, Dr. Breit is worth that wait. He is the ONLY doctor I can say this about. No doctor spends that much time with you. He's not late because he's overbooked. He's late because he'll let you talk for as long as you need to and he'll talk as long as it takes. When rating him, you can't give him five stars for ease of appointment, promptness or courteous staff, but the rest is definitely five stars! He's the ultimate best doctor I've ever been to!

I have been a patient of this physician for almost 10 years. Dr. Breit is knowledgeable, professional, kind, patient and understanding. He takes the time to answer all my questions and I leave his office satisfied that I have received the best care, treatment and assurance that if need "my doctor," Dr. Breit will be there.

I can't understand when a doctor blames Obama for his tardiness. I had a 12 p.m. appointment, so I left work at 11:30. Halfway there, the office calls to inform me he's, "running a little behind" and to come at 2. A little behind? So now I've wasted my PTO. Around 1:30, I get a call saying to come at 3. This tim, I called at 2:30 to make sure I'll be seen, and they asked me to come at 4!! I get there at 4, where the nasty front desk asks me to fill out new paperwork because the group # on my insurance card has changed. Mind you, everything else is the exact same. 4:15, a nurse calls me in and I sit for another 45 minutes. I had put on my coat to leave when Breit comes in, then rants about Obama. Aka his cover up for over booking. I've seen him a few times before mind you, and had similar issues. The silver lining here is he somewhat listens to what my issues are and does bloodwork. He fully admitted, however, to prescribing brand names so he could get a kick back. I also find it… unprofessional to ask you patients why they are fat or suggest if they lost weight, blood pressure cuffs would fit. That's mortifying! Especially since I had an untreated case of hypothyroidism and was seeing him because I can't lose weight. The previous endo did nothing about it, but he did. Another complaint of mine: I had to see him for a visit, then come back for a thyroid ultrasound and pay another copay. I explained to the front staff I can do both the same day, but was told I couldn't according to the insurance companies. I called my insurance, explained the issue, got a reference number saying I could do both, and called Breit's office. I gave all the info to the receptionist and demanded I have both done because I refuse to pay a second copay, to which she said she would have to check because Breit "doesn't like to do both." The truth comes out! A week before my appointment, they call me with some garbage that the ultrasound machine is broken and I have to go to an imaging center. I am so fed up with the abuse, yes, abuse, from this doctor and staff. I will be seeing my 5th endo now. It's so hard to find one who actually listens to you and helps you. This one would rathe insult you, run extremely behind, and like another reviewer said, thank me for being sick so I can put his kids through college.

If you have all day to seat and wait in the office than go head and see him. Otherwise go somewhere where they respect your time.

Always 1+ hours late for appointment. Took later appointment before me because they arrived first.

I cannot believe the amount of positive reviews that I read on here that enticed me to see this doctor. I knew this was going to be bad when I was phoned by the office to arrive a couple hours later than my appointment so that I have less of a wait in the office. Well, that didn't seem to help since I had to wait and additional 2HOURS ANYWAY on top of it. My a.m. appointment ended up with actually being seen at 4p.m., no exaggeration. After finally being called in, I wait, yes waited ANOTHER 40+ minutes in the doctors room by myself listening to him speak to 2 drug representatives in room next door through the walls on whether he was start promoting a specific drug. Let me start off by saying this guy is socially inept maybe even small signs of Aspergers when it comes to talking to patients. He actually said "thank you for having illnesses so that it could put my kids through college." Well let me thank YOU doctor for giving lawstudents/attorneys such as myself a job from… doctors like you for medical malpractice. First he diagnosed me with a disease, then changed his mind. My blood results and hormones were off and chose not to do anything about it even though I voiced my concerns on numerous occasions. After seen a different Endo, they were in shock that he chose not to do anything about it and how negligent he was. His staff is unprofessional and uncooperative in sending out documentation and is impossible to get any of your records without having a nervous breakdown. I would tell anyone that you hold dear to you to avoid this doctor, and not to be fooled by this unexplainable "good reviews".

For godsakes, please get rid of your insane wife Susanna Breit and never let her contaminate your practice again. Dr. Breit, you seem to have no idea how crazy your wife is. I have never experienced such a surreal and nasty front office in my life. I like you as a doctor but I cannot tolerate the way you manage your office, so I am finding another doctor.
