Dr. Neil Evan Bernstein, MD

Dr Bernstein treats you like a person first and a patient second. He has been my physician for over 10 years and I refuse to leave him. He is knowledgeable, humble and personable-a rare combination. He spends as much as time as necessary with his patients and explains all options fully. I would not hesitate to suggest him to anyone.

I remember an aphorism from the 70’s, if you want to be interesting, be interested. This is what I think of my visit with Dr Bernstein. We sat and talked for an hour. My first visit with an Electrical Physiologist. He narrowed the divide between patient and doctor.

Dr. Neil Bernstein is an excellent physician. I chose him after seeing five at the cardiologist. Best decision that I made. He made me feel comfortable with my decision to move forward with a defibrillator which now I am very happy to say I have.

Dr. Bernstein belongs on every list of top doctors in NY. His skill and experience is amazing. His ability to communicate with a patient is amazing, he is clear and non-judgmental. There is a kindness from him. He is also extremely generous with his time. Lenox Hill is so lucky to have a doctor of his caliber affiliated with them. If you suffer from A Fib you could not see a finer doctor.

Wonderful Doctor - excellent experience. I had WPW and all went well with the ablation. It has been 8 years since the procedure and I have had no problems. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Bernstein.

HE'S A DOWN TO EARTH DOCTOR BUT A GOOD ONE TOO. HE LISTENS, HE ALWAYS IS ON TIME, NEVER REALLY HAD TO WAIT LONG TO SEE HIM. RESPONDS IMMEDIATELY TO PROBLEMS.

My last two appointments had zero waiting time. An earlier appointment had a wait time of about 30 minutes because he was not rushing the previous patient. My two electro physiology procedures by him were both successful and no complications.
