Dr. Nilay Kavathia, MD

It took 4-5 months to get to conclusion I needed operation...the incompetence really let me down. You can't complain because no one will communicate with you. The entire operation of the office and communication is a mess. They will let you down. The doctor will not do anything to help you. He is supposed to get me a surgeon and I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and there's no communication from him. I have a serious problem with my colon that needs to be removed. I'm very ill. This has gone on for nearly 5 months now and because of this doctor and the procedures that this operation requires, there's no relief. The doctor is ultimately responsible for these failures

Excellent care, felt like Dr Kavathia listened well, explained the procedure and did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable.

I have been seeing Dr. Kavathia now for several years. He is an excellent doctor. He has complete trust and confidence. He is attentive, and answers all of my questions. I never feel rushed. I feel there is a partnership in his treatment and care.

Dr. Kavathia is a great doctor. He keeps up with all the latest treatments, always listens to me, and answers all of my questions. I feel he has my best interest in mind and I always feel like our relationship is a partnership to keep me healthy.

Dr. K is amazing! I see him in his Mesa and Queen Creek office. I had been to two other G.I. doctors before him and was starting to feel like would never have answers to what was going on with my body. I would highly recommend him to anyone! His infusion nurse is also great.

Have seen several gastroenterologists over the past 15 years and Dr. Kavathia is the best of the best. Not at all surprised that he is a recurring "Best Phoenix Doc." He is kind, he is personable, he is extremely knowledgable, and he is a wonderful listener who pays careful attention to your symptoms and history to arrive at a suspected diagnosis and schedule appropriate testing and procedures. In addition he explains everything clearly and thoroughly and answers all questions. I can't praise this physician and the Mesa office and staff enough. Dr. Kavathia is another one of the doctors I have found here that practices not just the science but the art of medicine.
