"I chose to specialize in Gastroenterology because since the beginning of my clinical training, gastrointestinal disorders have always fascinated me. Every disease and patient presentation is unique and requires a dynamic management approach. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and creating a comprehensive yet focused treatment plan. While I enjoy all aspects of gastroenterology, my special interests include gastrointestinal motility disorders, specifically esophageal and anorectal disorders. This consists of conditions such as refractory heartburn and constipation, post-esophageal surgery syndromes, pelvic floor dysfunction and fecal incontinence."
