After nearly two years of being his patient and many tears I am seeking a doctor that actually cares about women’s health. Dr. Shah’s VERY old school approach to what HE thinks a woman’s body needs in her 50’s is general and archaic. HE doesn’t listen or seem to care whether my sleep (which has been beautiful my whole life) my hormonal balance/metabolism is functioning well . I am an athlete a yoga a healthy person I KNOW MY BODY but the changes that take place need attention to live a quality life. Dr. Shah is NOT a Dr. I would recommend to anyone, especially a woman needing HRT simply to feel normal again.

I’m am so relieved to have Dr Shaw helping me with my health. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind compassionate. Truly a gem.

I saw dr. Shah in 2010-2011 for hyperparathyroidism when i was 27 years old and pregnant. He was very concerned for my baby as much as he was concerned about me. He was always respectful, enthusiastic, knowledgable and very clear about his treatment plans for me while i waited out my pregnancy to have surgery to remove my parathyroid tumor. I always felt highly informed and educated about what my ailment was, the medications i had to take, and how they would effect me and my baby. Everything turned out fine with the baby. At 9 weeks postpartum, i had half of my thyroid removed and 3 1/2 of my 4 parathyroids removed. My tumor turned out to be benign and i do not have to be on any thyroid medications! Turns out my condition was part of a case study since hyperparathyroidism in young, pregnant women is extremely rare! Dr. Shah Is a pleasant dr. He was always on time and sensitive to my time spent to see him so often. If he had to rescedule, i had plenty of advanced notice to reschedule.… I never waited long. I feel like i had the best endocrinologist and I would never see anyone else.
