I shared my symptoms for almost 2 years. I insisted on the fact that there was something wrong with my metabolic system . All he did was to check regular thyroid hormones, and nothing else. When I was able to convince another endocrinologist to order an ultrasound, they found two, highly suspicious noodles in my thyroid, and I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. If Dr. Downs had listened to my cries about my symptoms (instead of brushing them off as depression or perimenopause), I would not be writing this review today. Instead I would be out of my house, enjoying my life, but now I?m getting ready for thyroid surgery.

I have nothing positive to say. I shared my symptoms repeatedly and he ignored, and ignored and ignored. The result: I have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. If he hadn’t brushed off my symptoms and suspicions that it could be thyroid cancer, I would be enjoined my life instead of writing this review.
