The main reason I went with CIGC was the minimal invasiveness of the DualPortGYN surgical technique, the expertise of the meticulous surgeons, and the volume of successful surgeries. Dr. Mackoul explained how the cardinal and uterosacral ligaments were not fully cut in this type of hysterectomy, which appealed to me as it translated to an easier recovery with decreased risk of prolapse. Removing or leaving ovaries was another decision I also appreciate having one miniscule scar way down low, imperceptible, and that my abdominal muscles were not cut. I was thrilled with the care I received from the team, and that surgery was in the ambulatory surgery center in New Jersey, which allowed for a 40 minute surgery with minimal time to get scheduled; it felt safer than going to a hospital for a 3 hour robotic operation. I am a 42 year old woman who suffered fibroids; painful cycles and heavy bleeding; Dr. Mackoul performed my hysterectomy Surgery on September 21st. It was wonderful. No complications; very minimal pain and bleeding. I was back to feeling like myself in 4 days. Ladies if you have an issue with fibroids, endometriosis, etc. Go see Dr. Mackoul ASAP! I had a 19 pound fibroid, but was able to have a laparoscopic procedure! Just a few tiny incisions that I can now barely see. And two weeks of recovery... I was driving in a week!

Everything was explained very well and everything went as explained. Everyone had been patient and very understanding. I knew exactly what to expect. The recovery was very easy. Beautiful facility, itâ??s definitely a great choice for surgery.

Staff at the surgical center was exceptional. Nurses were professional and caring which made my procedure that much easier. Dr. MacKoul and his operating staff were swift and awesome as well. I had no pain after the procedure and Dr. MacKoul took the time to reassure me. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I would have done this surgery a long time ago.

I had a complicated procedure that was done extremely well with excellent standard of care by Dr. MacKoul and his staff. He was professional and knowledgeable to what needed to be done. My healing time was fast and remarkable. I highly recommend his state of the art medical expertise in laparoscopic surgery to women who have endometriosis, fibroids and or any gynecological issues that require a trained and skillful physician.

Innovations and staff and doctors have made every step of this process comfortable for me. I am very thankful. Dr. Mackuol is very kind and caring. I have stage IV endometriosis, he performed two laparoscopy to removes endometrial and scar issue.I am glad to have found him, he did a very good job. I had my first surgery with Dr.Seckin in new york, i was in so much pain that i felt i never recovered. Six months after that i had laparosopy with Dr. Mackuol,honestly i was blessed to have found him. My pain was drastically reduced.

I was given the care that I had been needing for years. I was treated well by the staff and Dr. Mackoul. I do not know what I would have done or where I would have ended up if I had not found this doctor. The staff was wonderful before, during and after my procedure. They made me feel comfortable and confident about the decision we made. Dr. MacKoul answered all my questions and was very patient with my indecision at times. I was very well informed and felt ready and confident for my procedure.
