I had brought my son to dr. shineman. My son had complaints of his throat closing after eating certain foods as well as rashes and poor weight gain. dr. shineman said my son had problems with the textures of certain foods! What! Finally got an accurate diagnosis of severe food allergies. Dr. Shineman was way off base and my son suffered for a long time because Dr. Shineman is an incredible bad doctor.

I love Dr. Shineman, so does my daughter. She always had (she's 7 now and Dr. Shineman has been her ped since she was born). She just said it yesterday as a matter of fact - that she loves going to the doctor to see him. He was my ped too when I was a little girl. I highly recommend him.

Cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Shineman. Through a few Health care crisis'. he has always been the one doctor at North Shore Pediatrics to take the bull by the horns, methodically trudge through the medical tests and determine the appropriate treatment, even when it wasnt so obvious!!! His 33 years of expertise do not go unacknowledged when you are dealing with children and is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Dr. Shineman is amazing. I have three sons he has a wonderful approach with them. They are very comfortable with him. He is always reachable, when my son was in the hospital with pneumonia he checked on him multiple times a day, he also was always reachable for follow ups.We are so grateful to have found such an amazing doctor for our children.
