Dr. Raed F. Tarazi, MD

Though this review is quite belated, I want to add my very positive comments about Dr. Tarazi. His expertise repaired the consequences of a life-threatening infection & somewhat botched emergency surgery in 2009 (another doctor!). I was blessed to find Dr. Tarazi, who 100% corrected these complications with several procedures over the next year. He patiently explained the treatment options, outlining the pro's & con's of each strategy, and guided me to the right decisions. Some 14 years on, I've had absolutely no subsequent issues, and for that I am so grateful to Dr. Tarazi. A terrific surgeon and physician, and a heck of a nice guy to boot!

My experience with Dr. Tarazi has been nothing less than exceptional. While most offices make you wait for months to see a physician, I was able to see him on the same day I called. I I had a very painful condition when I went in and fifteen minutes later I was pain free!! Scheduling was easy and he exudes confidence which was very comforting. The office was clean and setting comfortable. Thank you Dr. Tarazi.

WARNING DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give -5 stars I would! This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CARE, you will regret it.

I I went to see Dr. Tarazi after seeing two other physicians who after many tests could not figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Tarazi was able to diagnose me instantly without hesitation and provided me with a clear plan for treatment of my condition. I am so pleased to say that 3 months later, I am cured and have not felt better. He is caring, and highly competent. I wish I had seen him previously as it would have saved me many years of unnecessary suffering. Thank you Dr. Tarazi for bringing my life back.

The office tries to scam insured, in-network patients into paying cash ($500-$600 for initial visit). First, he told me he didn’t take my insurance, then the hold time was too long so they weren’t able to verify coverage, then because I continued to press the issue through my insurance company (who verified he is in network), he told them he is now opting to not see me as a patient. One lie and excuse after another…. The insurance company indicated this wasn’t the first report of this nature about this provider/practice. Look elsewhere - there are no redeeming qualities about this guy or his practice. Disorganized, unprofessional, and seems to lack integrity.

I had both external and internal hemorrhoids and some polyps. He took them all out, and within a short time, I was healed and was way better “down there”. I was prepared for a lot of post op pain, but it was minimal. I did take about 5 heavier pain meds Int he first 5 days (he warned that the 3rd day might be worse because the operation meds would have warn off). After that I just used ibuprofen. Within a week, I was on a cross country airplane flight. Within two weeks, I was done with any meaningful issues. And, 10 days before the hemorrhoid operation, Dr. Tarazi did a colonoscopy on me. It was so well done that I went out for a nice dinner with my wife that night. Dr. Tarazi knows what he is doing and his patients are the beneficiaries.

Dr. Tarazi was my colorectal surgeon for a sigmoidectomy and he did a wonderful job. His very calming and caring manner made me feel very comfortable before and after my surgery. Mine was a bit more complicated, and his judgement on treatment and the outcome were great. I have had no issues and I am back to my normal diet and activities. I am very happy that he is the surgeon I chose. I highly recommend Dr. Tarazi.
