Dr. Ralph Rodney Round, MD

Dr. Round is one of the nicest and most considerate doctors I have ever had. He is such a thoughtful, quiet man and explains everything so well. He goes that extra mile for his patients and you don't find that very often anymore. I needed things expedited and he did it as soon as I asked. That was very kind of him. No wonder he has such a good reputation. I have seen him three times.

Very caring and compassionate physician. Takes time to listen, which is important in a field dealing with the brain.

I've have MS. I've been a patient of Dr. Round's for close to 17 years. He is a great Neurologist, it was really hard to find one that has a personality. I feel now like we are growing older together. He and the Staff are very courteous, he will find the best course of meds to treat the MS.

I had been referred to Dr. Ralph Round, as I have been experiencing increasing migraines, despite various treatments. On the day of my appointment, which I had made over a month prior, I was suffering from a migraine and waited to take my medication (so the doctor could hopefully help me further). I had called the office to let them know I would be about 10 minutes late and mentioned that I was feeling miserable. Upon arrival, 10 minutes late, they cancelled my appointment and said I had to reschedule!! They had a lobby full of waiting patients and I was new. So, I had to find their office, and I hoped for a little understanding. The front office staff said they asked the doctor and HE asked me to come back another day. It was a complete SLAP in the face and extremely unprofessional. I couldn't believe that they would cancel the appointment, when I desperately needed to see the doctor that day! So, my migraine went from horrible to unbearable, thanks to the uncaring Dr.… Round. I have never experienced anything this insulting by a medical professional. He truly doesn't deserve to have patients with his approach.

Dr. Round has always showed concern for me and gone the distance to try to help me by ordering repeat tests and kindly taking my million phone calls. When he felt he couldn't do anything more for me, he referred me to an excellent neurosurgeon who took over from there.
