Dr. Raquel Neeley, MD

I was highly disappointed by my extremely long unnecessary visit with Dr. Raquel Neeley. I was hoping to switch to her as my PCP, although I was very disappointed after this visit. Dr. Raquel Neeley insisted I wear my masks, even though the mandate has long since expired, and both Dr. Raquel Neeley and her medical student were both wearing their masks. It's really hard to do an exam for a sinus an ear infection if you make the patient wear a mask. I was then ONLY examined by an incompetent medical student, which Dr. Raquel Neeley didn't do an exam herself to verify the medical students findings or lack there of since she didn't even know how to hold and properly use an otoscope to look into my ears, nose, and throat. The medical student was very timid and didn't seem to have any drive. Dr. Raquel Neeley refused to give me something for my nausea associated with my migraines because she said, "You have polypharmacy and it's not safe in the elderly." I just barely turned 55 years old,… and I don't take anywhere near the medications that have been prescribed to me. I have many things prescribed, doesn't mean I take it. I have many medications I consider to be PRN ONLY (as needed ONLY) medications and I really don't use them, but since they are on my list of medications, Dr. Raquel Neeley refused to prescribe anything to ease my nausea with my migraines which are well documented. She's acting like I asked for narcotics. She interrupted me several times and didn't allow me to finish explaining why I was there. She only prescribed allergy nasal spray for my earache and sinus infection. Now she wants me to go back in six weeks so she can do an intake on me. I wad already there for over three hours. I can't waste another day of work sitting in her office, and for what? I could have bought the nasal spray over the counter and saved a lot of time and humiliation since I have been prescribed too many medications and I'm too old to have something for my nausea because I'm prescribed other medications. Get a grip. Doctors need to realize, without patients, they don't have a job.

Today was the first visit I've had with Dr Neeley. She listened to my concerns and was very knowledgeable about my situation (migraines). She came up with a good plan of action and I felt very supported. I feel lucky to have (finally) found a dr I'm comfortable with.

Very good and she was an excellent doctor although she can jump to conclusions she was very helpful.

This was the third time we saw Dr. Neely and it was the last. She doesn't listen and she does interrupt. She is unwilling to do anything when she doesn't agree or it's not her idea. The staff was wonderful and kind but being that I had reservations but gave it a third go, only proved I was right to have doubts. I am in the process of finding a new doctor for my family.

I will never, ever go back to this doctor. She is very condescending and argumentative. She is cold and aloof and kind of sneers and scoffs sometimes when I talk to her. When I told her about my child's recent brush with death, she just mumbled "must be stressful" and didn't even look up from her computer. She apparently expects patients to "earn" their prescriptions (for things like high blood pressure), bit by bit, (15 days, 1 month) by complying with each of her orders and recommendations. (All my previous docs wrote them for 1 year.) Then she probably wonders why some patients don't trust her. If you want a cold-hearted doctor to boss you around, choose Dr. Neeley! If you want to have a dialogue with a concerned physician who respects your concerns and preferences, find somebody else.

I agree with the other reviewers. I've seen a lot of doctors in the past 15 years, and she was one of the most dislikable, but it wasn't just a matter of 'liking' or not. Interrupted me a lot - and I've got to tell HER what's going on! Furthermore, she halfway criticized/belittled every answer, jumped to conclusions, terrible 'bedside manner'. No way am I going to see her again.

After waiting for 45 minutes to see this doctor, she rushed in and tried to do a five minute drive-thru exam while I had many serious health questions about my medical conditions. She shot back that she "had many other people to see", thank you, and left while slamming the door. Very unprofessional,rude, and uncaring. This is a Doctor?? She acts worse than an untrained health care tech! I'm filing a written complaint against her.

Staff will warn you that if you have any issues to discuss with doctor you must really work to get her attention. Having the staff miss-record the purpose of the visit just makes matters worse as the appropriate time is not slotted. If you say please don't to an assistant, they will ignore your request.The doctor refused to properly screen for genetic endocrine issues, even simple thorough manual palpation.
