First off, make sure That HHPC takes your insurance. I spent an hour with Dr Srivastava as I was referred to him by my PCP. I have had major depression for 33 years and hadn’t seen a psychiatrist in over 10 years. Dr S thought that it was an unnecessary referral and seem to be resentful that PCPs refer to him unnecessarily. We had a chat, without one question directly about my mood or safety and he offered to me that supplements are basically a waste of money and I should go to the beach more. As I left, I asked if he would send a report to my PCP and he replied that he doesn’t write anything down and doesn’t send reports to anyone. As I checked out, I had to pay $300 up front and submit my own insurance claim. I am sure that knew that Dr S was out of network and would not be covered. All in all, it was a waste of time and money.

I was sent to see him by our VA. The moment I walked into his office I could immediately feel his enmity. I was treated with disrespect and contempt . He went on a long rant about his free clinic near my hometown and if I would have become a patient of his over the years . He NEVER asked once how I was or ANYTHING about my condition. I pray that the VA never sends anyone else who has fought and loves our country to this person . What a disgrace !!

He kept giving me medications to "try". I refused to take them and threw the samples out. He didn't want to discuss my situation or problems, just gave me medications. I went to him for about 6 months hoping things would get better. They didn't. A waste of time.

Pill pusher. Gave me every free sample he had. Unnecessary drugs. Didn't listen and didn't care. Just stared and made me buy a stupid book for $30 that sell on Amazon for $1.99. Find another doctor. I'll never go back again.

Worse doctor I have seen. Kept pushing pills off on me. Would never return or recommend.

Helped me out of my addiction. Saved my life and family. Treated me with great respect and care. Tough at times when he needed to be.
