Dr. Raymond Park, MD

I ended up with Dr Park through other doctors, and I'm so glad. He listens, really works at coming up with answers, and is kind.

No non-sense diagnosis and follow up plan. Provides roadmap to improvment. Very capable approach. ð???

Besides waiting for 45 minutes for the doctor to see me no one communicated to me during that time where he was. I was the first patient of the day and without apology the appointment began I've waited six months for this initial appointment with Dr. Parks after initially meeting him at the sleep disorder clinic when he told me that I could make an appointment with him to follow up with my neurological symptoms . I took him up on the offer and made a first patient visit. When I got there he said I sounded familiar and didn't need a consult. I asked why the wait and was told he was reviewing my charts. Then proceed to tell me with the option of treatment I selected it would be another 6 weeks. I asked to expedite as I may lose my job. He told me he would agree to take me as a patient if I respect the process. He then said because I was upset he'd have the nurses come in and speak with me. I walked out and spoke with the clinic manager for a change of doctors and I suggest… to anyone seeing Dr Parks to prepare to do the same.

Dr. Park explains my medical condition and the options in terms I can understand. He leaves no stone un turned and is caring and compassionate. I would highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr Park for almost two years now after a brain tumor. He was suggested by my primary and I am so happy to have found him. It is obvious he really cares about his patients and will really work to find the best way to help you. I have a lot of other medical issues and he always takes the time to discuss any changes and what he thinks should be next. I appreciate the fact that he wants to truly see me get better rather than just putting me on another drug. He is a patient doctor with a great bedside manor. And his staff is great too!

Dr. Park takes time to listen, is through and has always been available to me for any reason. He is compassionate, persistent and very knowledgeable.

Dr Park needs to have a serious meeting with his staff. The attempted re-organization is not effective. Phones are left ringing, calls are not returned and prescriptions are not called in in a timely manner. Now as for Dr. Park... he really should check his ego at the door and remember that the patients are there for his help. His approach is condesending and belittling. There is absolutely no reason he should find it necessary to make his patiets cry. In the event they do, he should put his big boy pants on and appolgize. Also, his inability to accept comments without trying to dispute them on this or any other site speaks volumes. Perhaps when he asks patients a question he could take a moment to actually listen to their response. It might prove helpful.

Although, the doctor seems quite smart and friendly. The staff (at the reception) and follow-ups are really hard. When you call, no one at the reception answers the phone call. I leave a message, no use (no one replies back). End of the day, I am left hanging with the next steps of his diagnosis. What is the use if you don't respond with the treatment and care? Be very careful. There are a couple of times where the receptionists themselves give their suggestion on the medicine advised to take. Ex: I wanted to check with the Dr if I could take Vit B100 instead of just B12 (100mcg) as I couldn't find it anywhere. Upon calling numerous times, someone from the reception says, sure why not, you can take B100. And then when I visited the doc, he said that I shouldn't have taken B100 as B6 can worsen whatever symptoms I had. Again, I called today to check what happened with the lab results and next steps for care. After calling 5 times with no response. Someone at the reception calls… back and says that my B12 count seems normal and said "You can take b12 supplements if you would like.. I don't see why not" ! (I don't know and don't think this medical advise was from Dr Raymond Park) I am not sure if the staff at the reception are even qualified to give any nurse advise.

I was referred for a possibly serious neurologic problem but he diagnosed me instead with pneumonia and sent me to the ER. Probably saved my life.

My dad had a brainstem stroke and was couldn't move or talk. things looked so bad that we were not going to do anything. but dr. park came into the room and insisted he get the clot melting drug and that it would save him. I am so glad we listened to him because my dad woke up the next day moving and talking and continues to improve with physical therapy
