Dr. Raymond Renzhi Zhou, MD

I was in a serious car accident while traveling for work. I had to go to two hospitals before I was well enough to travel back home. I tried to set something up with Dr Zhou, my PCP, for when I returned. His office refused to see me, despite the fact that I saw him about a month ago. Furthermore, they got rude and argumentative rather than explaining whatever their issue was. I had never needed my PCP as badly as I did, I needed (and still do need) to be in touch with specialists. But Dr Zhou's staff refused to schedule me or explain why they refused to schedule me. LINA the office manager hung up on me. Yvonne was also rude. Neither of them made any effort to explain their horrendous, shockingly awful decision. They just refused to help me when I needed them the most.

I've been a visiting Dr Zhou for last 7 years or so, and I'm writing this review only after it became really annoying. He does very minimal consulting but is always after bulking up his insurance claims with additional line items. There have been instances where he has basically denied answering basic questions saying it would need an additional office visit, meaning new charges. Stay away!

Please look elsewhere. Dr. is more concerned about the $ than treating patients. As long as he's able to milk your insurance he'll smile at you, once you switch your insurance he's hard to get to. Staff seems reasonable but are not willing to listen to patients unless you pay first.
