Dr. Robert A Kalish, MD

Dr. Kalish is very through, he knows when he will run late but will work you into his schedule if you need to be seen. His treatments have really helped. His referrals have also been good doctors.

He is Very knowledgeable staff is very friendly and yes you wait a little while to see him but thats because he is very busy and takes his time with his patients, and really most drs you tend to have to wait for anyways.

I waited six months for this appointment. I was interviewed by a very young uneducated assistant. Following this, I had an extensive interview with an intern. She then left me for over an hour. I was questioning whether I had been forgotten, so I found my way to the hallways to the front desk. The same young assistant was sitting in the lobby and went to the doctor's office to inquire about the hold-up. I was told he and the intern were discussing my case. Couldn't he have reviewed all of my extensive reports during the six months I waited for this appointment. He finally showed up in the examining room and ordered some blood tests after examining me. He was unreachable afterwards and he even warned me that he sometimes forgot to call back his patients, so I needed to remind him with a phone call. I had some abnormality in a test which could mean I had lupus, but he was very dismissive stating I could come back in six months, if I wanted, to retake the blood tests. I spent a… half a year waiting for answers, and ended up with a big question mark, dismissed, and worried. Do NOT waste your time with this "prestigious" doctor. He doesn't care.

I waited a long time to see Dr Kalish, though he was very pleasant I found he lacked knowledge in my troubles I was having and after traveling all day to get there I left with no answers just well it could be this or that. Not happy with him when he become recommended . He never followed up and I waited weeks for a call back on my test.Wouldnt reccommend him .

Late, NO follow through and NO diagnosis. WASTE of time and money. AVOID!

I had seen another rheumatologist because i had severe pain in back, shoulders, arms, legs and hips...he stretched my arms out, said maybe i had mild arthritis and i was dismissed..someone recommended dr kalish to me...there i had blood work, xrays, and mri and full work up and found that i had moderate arthritis in several places, a disc problem in the back and fibromyalgia..what a relief to know that i wasnt "imagining" things...i am on meds, am doing really well and dr kalish is brilliant, kind and caring with a good sense of humor... i would never go to anyone else for this issue..

Left me waiting in room for over an hour! Can't recommend,
