Dr. Bailey was an amazing physician and is truly missed. The neurology world lost a great provider. Dr. passed 09/2021

Does anyone know how and when Dr. Bailey died? We are in shock and none of the websites he is mentioned in are updated. ;-(

Years ago I was going to Dr. Bailey for my MS. He was the only Dr. that listened to everything I had to say, and was truly interested in helping. Unfortunately, my insurance changed, and although he still helped, whenever I had a serious exacerbation, I couldn’t see him regularly, as I recognized he needed to make a living. Very compassionate and always willing to be aggressively treating my MS, as I wanted him to do. Not sure if he’s still practicing, but would love to see if my insurance is covered in his office. Currently searching him out, as I’ve been hit pretty hard with the MS & Sarcoidosis. If you have MS, I would definitely recommend you see Dr. Bailey. The only negative, if you call it negative, he occasionally talked over the non medical persons terminology… but if you ask him to explain what he’s saying, he gladly does.

I felt like Dr. Bailey listened only to some of what I was saying. I came to see him because I have been dealing with chronic headaches for about three years ( with the past 4 weeks being the worst). He thought botox injections would make a big difference. That sounds great; however, if he had read my medical records (he complained they were too long so he wouldn't look at them) he would have seen that I had already been getting botox injections for at least a year if not longer and he didn't bother to ask and didn't give me much of a chance to explain. I left with horrible pain, I paid the copay to see him only to end up in urgent care later that day. He gave me a migraine medicine that made me feel worse (again had he listened to what I was saying he would have considered my sensitive stomach). After I took the medicine he gave me, I had nausea, dizzy and pain! He also gave me an opiod--not a good idea for someone dealing with chronic pain. I threw that away and I won't be… going back to see him. I wish he would have asked more questions and really listened to everything I was saying.

If you are looking for a great neurologist your quest can stop at Dr. Bailey's office. If he doesn't know the answer to your condition he will find it. At the same time being kind and understanding and explaining in words you can understand. He is one of the few Drs. left who will take time to listen to you. His staff is just as nice. My family has been going to him for 20+ years and hope to continue for many more.

How many people have to complain before you address these nurses? Dr.Bailey is the best. I love him ... He is not only the best MS dr but a rock when I am discouraged. His nurses on the other hand deserve a negative star rating. Karina & Marlin are horrible. They never want to help, they never return phone calls, they never let you finish a sentence, it is horrible that they are allowed to treat people that way. If you call RMC to file a complaint they don't care either. These nurses are completley out of control. Allowed to treat patients worthless. I was double charged 100$ by Rmc to get fmla paperwork filled out so I am currently fighting the 200$ charge. The paperwork literally wasn't even filled out by Marlin like he said it would be. Then when I took the paperwork back - Marlin (the nurse) kept telling me talk to billing - talk to billing - talk to billing - which had nothing to do with my papers not being filled out; but he had no clue what I was trying to say because once… again I couldn't get a sentence out. Finally he came close enough so I could show him all of the blank areas on the paperwork. He DIDNT complete and he kept saying didn't we go over them - didn't we go over them - It's not my job to go over them. They are supposed to be filled out by YOU... Remember ...? That's why I have to pay 25$ a page. He finally says leave them here and we will call you when they are done.. (((Sure you will))) They DO NOT return phone calls AT ALL... Everytime I need to talk to someone I have to drive down there and wait. The only reason I put up with their abusive behavior is because dr Bailey is so awesome. I am glad he is leaving RMC maybe he will be somewhere nurses and the organization actually care about people and at the least treat them with respect and are made TO DO THEIR JOB....

An amazing doctor! I feel extremely fortunate to have this man in my corner, and on my team to educate me on MS. He constantly gives me motivation to keep me head up and kick this disease's a**. I would highly recommend Dr. Bailey and appreciate all that he's done for me.

Trying to phone in is a nightmare

Dr. Bailey has such an admirable demeanor; excellent bedside manner.

Didn't have any interest in treating my pain symptoms. I was nearly at a point where I would have to go on disability and he told me he would see me again in five months. Wrote derogitory personal notes that were never discussed between us. He is a liar and a bad person. Don't go to this person.
