Dr. Ronald Verne Trout, MD

Have been seeing Dr Trout for more than 30 years. Has been the family Dr for me, wife, kids and parents for both sides. He is excellent. Now at Rever on Wickham Rd as of Jan.

Dr. Trout is very approachable, listens intently and is extremely thorough. Dr. Trout has been my entire family's GP for over 30 years. His skill and attention helped keep one of my family members alive and thriving for many years beyond that expected.

DR.Trout has a problem with patients asking questions. His response is "I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND THERE ARE OTHER DOCTORS YOU CAN SEE" First visit with him at OMNI HEALTH CARE in Palm Bay FL., ( he is the 6th Doctor I have been assigned at Omni in Palm Bay in the Past 5 years) he ordered a full page of lab work which I thought was the right approach to get to know a new patient by the results of the tests. The second visit went very badly and Trout became visibly disturbed when reviewing the results of the labs as I asked questions to help me understand better what the results meant, at which point he became visibly annoyed and made the statement written above in the Review Title section. When the visit was over he wrote my prescription for my anxiety disorder which I have suffered with for some years and told me to come back in 3 months. The prescription he wrote for me was for a 30 day supply and I asked how I would go about getting it refilled and was told to… call his office a few days before it ran out and he would write the prescription and then I could come and pick it up and have it filled. I was within a few days of exhausting my 30 day supply and called his office and was told "WERE VERY BUSY AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE OFFICE CALLS YOU TO COME PICK UP THE PRESCRIPTION". I called the next day in the afternoon and was told "DR. TROUT HAS DENIED YOUR REFILL" I informed them to please remind Trout that the medication was for anxiety and prevention of panic attacks and I was aware of detrimental side effects with abruptly stopping taking this medication and asked him to call me with an explanation of why he was denying the refill and to please consider the side effects of abruptly stopping. NO CALL WAS RECEIVED. I have every intention in bringing this matter to all appropriate authorities that govern Medical Ethics.

I've been seeing Dr. Trout for about 30 years. He took care of myself, my husband, my 4 children and my grandson. He's an excellent doctor. Now I need a new one.

i have been going to Dr. Trout for over twenty years, and now i am looking for another doctor. I loved going to Dr Trout,he took the time to talk to you.Is he still practicing,if so i want to find where he is /

I have been a patient of dr. Trout's for approximately 10 years my entire family saw him and when I went to make an appointment I couldn't because he doesn't work there anymore and nobody will give me a straight answer as to why

He was our Dr and health first sent us a letter saying that he is no longer with them!! So where did he go??
