Dr. Russell D Donnelly, MD

Rude, dismissive, would not allow me to be part of the visit, except to point where my pain was. From the moment he walked in I felt like a box that needed to be checked off, not a person. He seemed to enjoy causing me pain during his exam of my knee. He dismissed 5 weeks of knee pain to over use. My visit summary included several incorrect pieces of information. After reading his visit summary, I decided to seek treatment elsewhere. I found the absolute best orthopedic knee surgeon elsewhere. He is kind, informative, and I always felt like a person before I was a patient. What Dr. Donnelly dismissed as over use was actually a root tear of the lateral meniscus.

He told me to keep walking on my foot when I was in excruciating pain. His diagnosis was a simple sprain. UMASS MRI: fracture and bone edema. Shame on this SCAMMER! He is the worst doctor.

I was very pleased with my experience at Harrington Physician Services with Dr. Russell D Donnelly and his assistant Teresa as well as his staff Karla,Kristen and Patricia. This time My first time at Harrington Physician Services was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all the other employees of the Harrington Physician Services made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe they are the best. A big thank you to all of them.”

I don’t normally listen to reviews, so I scheduled a visit, I wouldn’t waste your time or the Co-Pay here, there are better options available. The Doc had nothing nice to say, never really said anything about my knee, Should have taken the reviews more seriously.

Simply the worst. He is an arrogant and zero bed side manner man. His hand was on the door knob for most of my visitsHe replaced my left hip at St. Vincent's. It was the worst experience I have ever had. The swelling and bruising were tremendous. My home care nurses couldn't believe what he had done to me. And the best part of all of it was that he made my leg longer than the other 18mm. I am also disfigured my scar is 8 inches long and completely sunken in. This was done in 2010 and I just recently stop having sutures coming through my skin. Then in 2012 I had my left hip replacement done with a new surgeon. It went so fantastic. I was walking and did PT the very next morning. I felt great. Needed very little pain med. my scar is 4in long and looks great. My new surgeon wasn't fully able to correct the leg length discrepancy. He was able to lengthen by 8mm. 18mm would have pushed to far. He then showed me the post-op X-ray. The butcher didn't sink the implant all the way down so it… was sticking up causing the leg length discrepancy. I live in chronic pain with my right hip and feel nothing on the left. Try to sue a person for malpractice is so difficult. Dr's won't go against other Dr's because there Malpractice insurance goes up considerably if they go against another Dr. How sad is that. So once again the patient suffers for life. I can't even rate the man because in my book he would be -5. But I have to put something in that field so I have to do 1 but he doesn't even deserve that.

He patiently answered all questions posed in an understandable manner. He gave options for tx with pros and cons and supported my decision. He had a sense of humor and was down to earth. Thank you very much!

he was referred and his misdiagnosis was for arms is not even his specialty therefore he has no right to give a evaluation especially when the radiologist says different.

He is an amazing doctor and surgeon. After years of arthritis pain, I can now walk again like normal thanks to Dr. Donnelly. Thank you for giving me my life back.
