Dr. Sajjad Hussain, MD

I am still deeply traumatized from my past experience. Definitely do not recommend to anyone.

Doctor is rude and treats patients like children. He has refused to dispense medications unless you do what he tells you. He expects you to make appt. every month. It appears he is more condescending towards women. I have talked to other patients who have found other doctors.

Dr. Hussain has been my endocrinologist for about four years. I see him every six months for routine appointments and I have never had an issue talking to him. I am unsure why he has such negative reviews because he was a very pleasant person to me, and he took the time to answer all of my questions. He even asked me about my lifestyle choices to see if they could be impacting my condition. I think Dr. Hussain has taken the time to ensure I receive quality treatment, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an endocrinologist.

I should have read the reviews before I went. The nursing staff are wonderful and I'm sure they take a lot of abuse due to the incompetence. Of the dr. You are told to use the portal to communicate. You do and you never get a response. When you ask why it is always oh the message got lost in the portal. Then when you do have a serious side effect the dr s response is just keep taking the medicine. I'm like no I'm hemorrahing blood. Oh that's ok keep taking it. No that is not ok.

He is nice sometimes and very rude other times. You do not want to be on the receiving end when he's being rude. I would never go back to Dr. Hussain or recommend him.

I liked Dr. Hussain the first couple of visits but then I got to see his true personality. He has a horrible bed side manner and is nasty. I was there for help but the way he spoke to me literally put me in tears. The horrible way he spoke to me had me crying in his office and he didn't show any sign of caring. Everybody I've told the entire story to was shocked that a Dr. would talk down to a patient like that. A friend of my family used to go to him and hated the treatment he got from him as well.

I got to Stafford Medical for almost every doctor that I see and they are an amazing practice. The doctors, escpecially, Dr. Hussain, Dr. Wintzelberg, are outstanding and extremely knowledgable. My only issue is with their staff at the front desk. I would hate to include everyone at the front desk it my review but several of the girls are absolutely awful. You can stand their for 10 minutes before they even recognize your existence, not always because they are busy, but generally because they are gossiping, Grey's Anatomy style. I work in a doctor's office and I am appalled beyond belief by SOME of the desk staff's treatment of the patients.

"Tough Love" would be an accurate descrition of Dr. Hussain's style. I have Type II diabetes for years and I was out of control. By making me realize the potential risks I was taking with my life, he reset my attitude from apathy to action. Others tried to get me on the right path, but he has the communication skills to reach me, convince me and encourage me to take charge of my life.
