I am so grateful to Dr. Churgin for her incredible skill and kindness. Years ago, she stitched up my young grandson after a severe, jagged laceration near his eye that went all the way to the bone. Today, at 11, you’d never know had stitches — her work was nothing short of remarkable. Recently, I needed Mohs surgery next to my right eye, and there was no question in my mind who I wanted to close the incision. Dr. Churgin made everything so easy, went out of her way coordinating seamlessly with my Mohs surgeon. She treated me with such warmth and compassion, keeping me calm and chatting to distract me while she worked. Now, a month later, my scar is so faint you have to look closely to even see it — she stitched it perfectly into the natural fold of my skin. I know with time it will be just like my grandson’s… completely gone. Dr. Churgin is an outstanding plastic surgeon with unmatched precision and compassion. I recommend her wholeheartedly. -Diane S

My daughter was 15 when we first met with Dr. Churgin for a consult for a breast reduction. She suffered from severe back pain and was 5’ 2” and a size G. We did not take the possibility of our daughter having a breast reduction lightly and wanted to explore all options as there were many concerns about her development and implications for the future. That was over a year and a half ago and through consultation, exams, surgery and post op we would not change one thing!!!! Every visit was at least a two hour drive each way and Dr. Churgin and the entire administrative staff are caring, thorough and top notch!!! Dr. Churgin’s skill as a surgeon is unparalleled and coupled with amazing patience to answer all her questions and concerns. They assisted us with the insurance process which can be very lengthy but they were by our side through the entire process. Dr. Churgin even made a special visit to her NYC office to accommodate our schedule!!!! The staff was incredible - not only… did they check in the night of the surgery but continued to follow-up for several days and made themselves available at ANY time day or night!! My daughter could not be happier with the outcome and her increase in self confidence as well as living pain free has been an unbelievable relief for her and us for a better quality of life! If you are considering a breast reduction for your daughter I would definitely recommend meeting with Dr. Churgin!! It has literally been life changing for my daughter!!!!!

Dr. Churgin and her office staff are amazing. Dr. Churgin made sure I understood all facets of the procedure I was having and made me feel at ease with the whole process. The office staff, specifically Frank, Kathy, Ann, and Jocelyn, were absolutely incredible and by far the best office staff of any medical office I've ever been to. I cannot say enough good things about them and Dr. Churgin!

Dr. Churgin did a wonderful job with my breast reduction, lift and Lipo. In the hospital she made me Feel comfortable. Her and her staff made sure After my surgery They gave follow up calls and made me feel at ease. I recommend Dr . Churgin for cosmetic surgery five stars .

Dr Churgin is a super talented and meticulous plastic surgeon. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is so easy to talk to. I highly recommend her to my family , friends, and my own patients!

Dr. Churgin and her staff has gone above and beyond to help me. Words can't express how greatful I am. I'm an out of network paitent that has been approved by my health insurance. I'm now a week post-op. As soon as I sat up after surgery I immediately felt relief on my neck, back, and shoulders. I couldn't believe how good I felt. I haven't had any back pain since. I'm still in the recovery process but so far I'm really happy with my results. Also the staff checks in with you multiple times throughout the days to see how you're doing, which for me I really liked. I'll will update this post again when I'm further in my recovery.

So I wrote a review a few weeks ago bc I wanted to let everyone no that I meet the most awesome, knowledge, caring an the most lovely doctor. Dr Churgin made me feel so comfortable while talking to her. I decided to have my surgery. It was just 4 days ago. I’ve been up an around only took pain meds for 2 days. An feeling back to my self again. Everything she told me was spot on. From pain management to going home the same day. I contemplated for 10 yrs. an after meeting dr Churgin I new I had the right doctor. She is very smart, an new everything I would be experiencing. An the happy ladies at the front desk make u feel so comfortable when u walk in. Heidi, Kathy, Ann an Mrs Churgin we’re wonderful about handling my procedure. From all the paperwork to even making appts for me. So I had all the testing done for Dr Churgin to go over before my surgery. She wanted to make sure my health was good before going in the hospital. She had everything in order an new everything about me. She… came to my bedside before the surgery an after the surgery. I can’t say enough about Dr Churgin she is truly a wonderful surgeon an I highly recommend her. I feel like she is a close friend of mine now because she was so kind to me right up to the end. It’s been 4 days an each day Heidi from the front desk calls me an asks me how I’m feeling. An if I have any questions for Dr Churgin. When I did have a question Heidi talked to the Doctor an got back to me within minutes. Very professional office. Right up until now. I went today for my post op visit an I have one more visit for a check up. An then I’ll be done. It’s been such a pleasure having all these people in my life to get me healthy and well. I had my worries about finding a great doctor to who accepted my insurance and is trustworthy and highly talented!! My dreams came true with Dr Samara Churgin and staff!! My insurance cover the surgery for Breast Reduction and the staff and especially Kathy C and Heidi helped me from start to finish!! I’m in the best care ever and highly recommend this Double board certified surgeon who is a preferred provider!! Love them and so thankful!!

On Christmas Eve, I was bit on the face by a dog. I had a laceration on my upper lip. My fiance brought me to the ER at Huntington Hospital on Long Island. Luckily, Dr. Churgin was the on call plastic surgeon for that evening. I was terrified. I am not accident prone, and have zero experience with an injury like this. Dr. Churgin arrived at the ER, and was so calm, cool and collected. She immediately went to work on me, exuding complete confidence in what she was doing...which made me instantly trust her. She was my Angel that evening. I should mention that the weather was horrible that night, and she had to drive through terrible wind to to get there. She was cheerful, and joked about it. To put me at ease, she made netflix recommendations to us while she worked on me.. but paid attention when I asked her questions. A week later, I had a follow up with her in her Manhattan office. Her admin, Heidi was particularly kind on the phone when she made the appointment. This was so… refreshing. Kindness goes a long way when you are injured.. Once in the Manhattan office, her assistant, Frank was very personable, and helped us with necessary paperwork that all Docs have to deal with. He was very kind, and patiently reviewed with us what had happened. To my surprise, Dr. Churgin was able to remove the stitches, and I am on the mend. I know I am not the easiest patient, as I don't do well with pain, and I'm a bit of a fraidy-cat. She just did her thing, and I feel better and look better every day! This lady is very skilled, and knows her stuff! I am in awe of people like this who can fix us. Thank You Dr. Churgin!
